Can you have an optial migraine aura in both eyes at the same time?

I have been having  vision disturbances in both eyes at the same time.  My optician said that it is migraine aura.  I have read in places that this is normally only in one eye at a time?  Is that true?  I also have a history of auto immune disease and uveitis...

Hi!  What do U mean  on the same side?  Do u mean if it is affecting my eye in outer corner it will do the same in the other eye?  This is more like a circle around my central vision that is swirly and flashing lights in the far corners of eyes.  Sometimes they last for 45 mins or so but the last one lasted 4 hours....thanks for your help!
