Cataract Surgery
I had cataract surgery Jan 3-02 and Jan 21-02. Why are my eyes not healing, also they are sore and feel scatchy. I have seen my optomerist today.

It sounds like you might be suffering from dry eyes. There are various treatments for this condition--ask your eye care professional if you might benefit.
I presume you mean Januar 2011, not 02. Different people heal at different rates, of course, but the length of time it's taking your eyes to heal does seem excessive. I presume your eye surgeon prescribed eyedrops for you? Did you take them regularly? Did you avoid rubbing your eyes after the procedure? Were you careful when bathing or showering to keep water and/or soap out of your eye?
What did your optometrist tell you when you saw him today? If he was not your actual eye surgeon, you need to speak with your surgeon about your continuing discomfort.
