If you've ever seen an image of your OCT then this would make more sense....
Basically, in the eye on an OCT scan the fovea can be seen as a little dip or curve in the scan. If the fovea is blunted it means that that dip/curve is not as apparent, thus more raised.
Next, time you go to the drs. ask him/her to point this out on your OCT it helps to have a visual.
BTW, the fovea is a depression in the center of your macula. It is responsible for your highest visual acuity.
