Is there anything I can do for AMPEE?
My Dr. says there is no inflamation, just lesians and steroids won't help. He says we have to wait and see if it goes away on it's own. I don't want to wait, I want to do something for it, anything. My vision is terrible. I can't drive, I can't read, I can only see the computer if Izoom in and then I still have spots in the way and it is very difficult. I don't give up easily and I really need some answers.
Use the search feature and archives as there are extended discussion threads on same. While there is no specific treatment AMPEE rarely leaves permanent damage and over time (variable) the spots fade both to look at in the eye and from the person who has them being aware of them.
