15 days after embryo transfer

Hi all,
I'm 15 days post embryo transfer, no spotting, no bleeding, but i got my bhcg done yesterday. it was 1.67miu. i had all signs of early pregnancy, like, bad taste in the mouth, period like feeling, but no periods. Frequent urination. I was on progesterone support. Does this means i'm not pregnant or it is just false negative, as still i'm not having my periods, or will they come only if i leave the progesterone. Doctor has suggested to give up medications. But i dont want to give up! Pls any one suggest.

I'm 18 days after my embryo transfer and hpt is still negative! I'm still not bleeding. Have I still a chance of being pregnant?

Dear Annie, truth is still negative, i have accepted the truth. Might be God has some better reasons. I'm just worried because my ovarian reserve is very less, and do not know for what reasons, i  don't have any other problem. I found it strange why my AMH Level was very low, because whole my life i got my periods on time. and my age is just 33.5.

I hope that didn't sound more discouraging than I meant it to.  I'm delighted the doctor was online to do a followup test rather than simply insisting you believe the first one.

Your symptoms and lack of a period are more than likely just from the progesterone, so saying I also "assume" it's a lab error is restating what I said too strongly.  But it's definitely worth getting a second hCG count, so you will have peace of mind if it's negative and can also check the slim chance that something was wrong with the processing of the test the first time.

Thanks Annie, for replying, i'm also assuming it to be lab error, and it was 16 days since sperm met egg and 14 days post embryo transfer when the test was conducted. I had got two embryos of B Quality, transferred at 1:00pm on 10th June. I will get one more test conducted tomorrow. I hope my mind will be at ease then. Till then i'm continuing my medications. i hope no harm as such will be there if i continue my medicines for few more days as, my periods will be due only on 27th/28th of this month, as my cycle was disturbed by the meptrap medications.

I'm really sorry, but 1.67 is so low that it is defined as "not pregnant."  If you are 15 days post transfer, does that mean you are 18 or 20 days past the fertilization of the egg that created the embryo, or did you count that time and it is 15 days since sperm met egg?  If the latter, you could wait two days and get one more blood test just to be sure, but your doc sounds like he might not be the place to get it.  It wouldn't be a false negative, but it could (slim chance) be a lab error, and if you were to call and insist, they might be willing to run another test just so you can put your mind at ease.
