This waiting period is way more difficult than I expected. Are you doing the progesterone injections? I thought the injections would be my biggest hurdle! Not!
im not doing progesterone injections, im doing progesterone vaginal insertion the medication name is crinone.
I have been getting mild cramping since the day of my ET, yesterday I got the worst cramp of my life while moving my bowels. I called my nurse and she said if it happens again to call her, it could be ovarion torsion, if not it could be my enlarged ovaries going back to their normal size.
But im such a negative thinker! I read all the post on this forum and from the looks of it cramping or no cramping does not make a difference. How is your's going?
I don't have cramps. I have tiny twinges or flutters on my right side. I am doing the estrogen patches, switching every 3 days, along with 2mg of estradiol 3xs a day. In addition to the 2cc's of progesterone shots every morning. My husband is having such a challenge with those - he hates needles! I drink a lot of chamomile tea and I am doing acupuncture. I think it is helping me stay calm and relaxed.
.2ww is horrible. I had a 2 FET 5day blastocyst and I have done the hpt too many times and have come up with BFN. I would suggest do not take a hpt, if you can help it. It just makes it worse. I've had the typically cramping, sore breast, but that has ended. Still some cramping, but mostly little tinges in my ovaries. Had a blood test on the 31 at HCG was at 5 :( will have another blood test on Monday
Be blessed with your numbers on Monday! I will stay away from the home pregnancy tests! I go to acupuncture on Sunday. It will keep me relaxed.
Acupuncture? What are the benefits? Thank you
1. Acupuncture aids in lowering stress hormones, which promote infertility.
2. Acupuncture aids in increasing blood flow to the uterus. Since this encourages a thicker uterine wall, fertility is easier.
3. Acupuncture further increases the production of endorphins, which have been proven to aid in releasing a decapeptide involved in regulating reproduction.
4 Acupuncture stimulates the plasma levels of fertility hormones.
5. Acupuncture helps normalize the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis.
6. Acupuncture regulates the menstrual cycle, making family planning easier.
7.Acupuncture helps women suffering from a hormonal imbalance called polycyctic ovarian syndrome.
8. Acupuncture also strengthens the immune system, preventing illness and weakness that may reduce chances of fertility. - See more at: http://www.pacificcollege.edu/acupuncture-massage-news/articles/567-benefits-of-acupuncture-on-fertility-treatments.html#sthash.Kd556eGy.dpuf
I have a menstrual disorder - adenomyosis. Adenomyosis is uterine thickening that occurs when endometrial tissue, which normally lines the uterus, moves into the outer muscular walls of the uterus.
It is extremely painful & causes a lot of blood loss. No pain medication helps.
I had four blood transfusions last year. At one hospital stay I was given morphine while they were transfusing my blood.
I found a specialist that was able to treat me with LupronDepot, and increase my hemoglobin.
We went right into IVF. We froze 3 5D blastocyctes and I begin acupuncture. The acupuncturist treated me with Chinese herbs to clean out the old blood, clean out my liver & kidneys, and assist with blood flow. My uterine lining was a 13 before the transfer & all of my labs were perfectly on point!
What's the success rate of transferring 2 embryos at D5? We transferred 2, I'm wondering if both implanted or only one?
I am sorry to hear of your disorder, but very pleased to hear things are improving. Sounds like your lining and all labs are excellent. Good luck and I will pray for you. When is your blood test?
Thank you for all the info on acupuncture.
Thanks! You are welcome! We are blessed with information and experiences in life so we can share them & bless others.
My blood test is on 11/11. My acupuncture this morning was a blessing. I'm praying for you as well.
When is yours?
hi i have not been on here for a while but i do want to announced that on 11/06 I got a BFP hcg level at 467, im still getting light cramps.
I'm new to this. What does BFP mean?
Never mind! I found the list of acronyms! Congratulations!!
My doctors appt was this morning & my doc requested an ultrasound. We saw three gestational sacs! We transferred two embroyos on 10/28. One split into two. I am still waiting for my labs to come back, I'm sure they will be high with three sacs! My husband almost fainted! We were praying for life, we didn't ask for specifics! BFP!
I'm in 2ww but I think you all are just wrapping up. Hope to celebrate some BFPs!

Hey! Welcome. I'm still waiting to see what's going on. Even though we saw 3 gestational sacs my HCG was only a 3. We seem to think my body is a little late & my 2 frozen embryos that were transferred were in a hurry to find a warm nesting place!
I will have an update on Friday. I can't wait............
Hi everyone! I am new to the community and I am on day 6 after 3day transfer. I am going absolutely nuts with waiting...I know it doesn't help but its hard to focus on anything else, so I decided to join this forum so I could talk to some folks who are in a similar place. I was cramping since day one after ET and now, on day 5, nada nothing everything has stopped. Is this a good thing or not?
I'm on day 12 after 2day transfer. I had the same cramping on day 2 and 3 then stopped, too. I have been spot bleeding from progesterone vaginal suppositories since day 2. *****. Every little feeling or non-feeling worries me. I'm right there with you.
It's insane to wait two weeks! I posted a photo of my ultrasound, (in my profile) but I'm negative for pregnancy...my HCG was a 3 and then less than 2. I just got my period and we have one more frozen embie left.
I cramped the entire time during my two week wait, but I have adneomyosis, and it's challenging for me to get pregnant.
