Anyone tried accupuncture after failed IVF then tried IVF again and became pregnant

I am desperate and confused at the same time. I got my AF before my BT which was due on Monday. This is my first IVF I want to try again but money is an issue. I wanted to try Accupuncture to see if that might balance my hormones as I think they are definetly out of whack. I want to know if anyone has tried it and has been successful next IVF cycle. Please help me I am truly DESPARADO.

Best of luck Kimscott on your testing on Wed. I hope it works for you especially since insurance will not cover you again. My prayers are with you. Come home and log on and let me hear about your BFP.

As for the accupuncture I go on Tuesday for my first time I will keep all posted. I'm even going to try Chinese medicine. Hey I'm desperate so I have to try EVERYTHING. I'll keep you all posted.

I looked into it. In my area it was about $80 a session and they wanted you to come in once a week for treatment.  If I 'knew' it was legit, I'd spend the $$ but there is just enough doubt in my mind to make me not want to spend the $$.

Best of luck to you.

Hi this is my first IVF also I go in for my Beta Wed. Money is a really big issue for me next time around insurance dont pay nothing towards IVF. evrything is out of pocket for me and my husband. I have had a plan the whole time if this dont work and one of them is accupunture. I hope this works for you. I know this is hard I am waiting and I have no cramps or bleeding ,but I dont feel that it worked for me either.  I wish you luck . The waiting for me is the worst.                 Wishing you luck!!!

Good Morning.... I have tried acupuncture two times during my IVF cycles and the first IVF cycle I got preggers but it was ectopic.....the second time, it was a bfn.....but I could tell I was not into it.....the acupuncture is wonderful, I have to say....very relaxing.... for me, it was 55.00 each time and my insurance didn't cover it.....so this round, I am taking a different approach... I am reading "The Secret" and doing Yoga, and doing guided meditation.....we'll see, but I have already started cycle #3.... I didn't even take a break from #2....  I an crazy with this IVF stuff!!!  I will probably start acupuncture again next weekend and go up until and after transfer......good luck to you!!

Oh, by the way....I also got AF before my beta!!!!  I didn't think that could happen when you are on PIO shots!!!!
