Aunt Flo Symptoms or Preggo Symptons?

My first sign of an oncoming visit from AF is very tender and swollen breasts.  Sometimes happens a few days before AF shows up or could even begin a week and a half before.  So here's my question....

Let's say I ovluate on day 14 and it's a "successful" month.  Well I'm still not technically pregnant until impantation occurs around day 20-25, right?  Wouldn't my body (since it doesn't know it's pregnant yet) take it's normal route of starting to feel the symptoms of oncoming PMS?  Does this make sense?  I know I'm wording this question badly.

Right now my breasts are huge and have been killing me since about day 24 (I'm typically a 31 day cycle).  So of course I feel like I must be PMSing and not pregnant.  Is it possible for your body to begin you PMS symptoms but still be pregnant?  I guess that's what I'm asking.

YES!!!! I got my BFP on Monday, I thought I was going to have the worst period ever. My AF symptoms were in full force X 2!!! Swollen BB's and bloated belly. I told my hubby not to get his hopes up b/c I know when AF is coming and it's coming, she didn't come!!! Best wishes to you, I hope you are having the same symptoms that I did!!

I am wondering the same thing. I also get sore bbs before AF and this has started a couple days ago. I am 9dpiui so I am still hoping for a BFP.

Do most women get implantation bleeding??

I have heard that only 20-30% get implantation bleeding, I did not.

Great question nevaeh222!  I also wonder that.  Most women I know say that the first week or two of pregnancy feel just like you're getting your period.  But I never knew if they meant befroe the got the BFP or after they already knew.  

Do women feel anything of the typical first pregnant symptoms?  or does that not come until a few weeks into your pregnancy?

Hi everyone,
I was just reading in a book that if your boos typically hurt when you have PMS then typically you can expect your boobs to hurt even more than normal PMS and this symtom can start as soon as two days after conception, not implantation.

I've also read the same thing about implantation bleeding, it is about 20 to 30% of people. So the majority do NOT experince implantation bleeding.

I have a 5 yr old and have had a few other preg. that ended in m/c, and for me personally, I never had implantation bleeding. My first symptoms were sore bb's, very very tired, and the dead give away for me has alaways been an exaggerated sense of smell! Like I can smell a person eating a piece of pizza three miles away! All three of those happen pretty quick for me, way before implantation.

Well, like I said, that was for me personally, so everyone is diffrent. So don't be sad. There are always those people that are blessed with no symptoms at all!! :)
I'm only on CD18 and I'm already driving myself crazy! It's gonna be a long two weeks.

I really did not feel any nausea at all prior to BFP , that is this week :-(  uuugh!

Good luck with everything. Hopefully I'll be in the same boat next week! :) How early can you test? 12dpiui would be Monday for me? or should I wait until after I expect AF which is Wednesday?
