BBT Question

I am 7dpIUI.  Today my temp was 98.6.  The past few days it has been around 97.6.  I usually temp around 6am, but wtih it being Saturday today I slept in and  did not temp until 9:30am. I know temps rise around implantation, but because I slept in does that make a difference.  Any help would be fantastic! Thanks-

Thanks for all the imput!  Sunday's temp was 98.3 and today 98.2 (both around 6) So its a little lower then Sunday's temp. We have been ttc for 3 years, but only started temping about 8 months ago when we began seeing RE.  I usually don't pay much attention to my BBT graph, this is our 6th IUI cycle.  In our 4th cycle I had an ectopic and since then have been paying more attention-borderline obsessing- over the chart. I'm still a little confused.

For implantation would the "spike" need to stay up? What is a triphasic? lutal pahse??

I agree with both cheesecake and helen.  I also temp every am at 6:10 on the dot!  I am 1dpiui. This morning it was cosistant again at 97.5 (been there the past 8 days) but when I woke up again at 10:30 and tested (out of curiosity) it was 98.4.  I thought MAYBE i o'd but There really is no way to know until 6:10am tomorrow.  Plus i just found out   that the rise doesnt always happen until 1 or 2 days past O, because the follicle left behind produces the progesterone which causes the rise in temp and that can take a day or two.   So if that is the case, I hope I dont see a rise yet, cause that would mean I possibly did my IUI late.  Good luck!

A rise is a good sign.  The only way to check whether it was a BBT rise or you taking your temp at a different time is to check tomorrow at the usual 6am time.  If your BBT is still up you probably have a triphasic shift which is a sign of implantation.
Good luck!  I hope this is your month!

7 dpiui is an exciting day to see a spike!  It would be because you slept in. I would think the only way to know for sure would be to wait until tomorrow morning and see what it does. If it stays that hig I would be very excited!
