BBTs

Okay, so I have heard you don't have to worry about charting your BBTs when AF is around but I just do it anyway to keep in the habit. I just started taking my temps about 2 weeks ago.  So, I am day 5 of AF today and I can tell it is starting to taper off (sorry- not trying to be gross).  Anyway, my temps have been pretty consistent- around 97.9 each morning.  Then, yesterday morning it dropped to 96.8.  I have never been this low.  Today I am at 97.0.  I am not sure what to think about that.  Anyone know about BBTs?

Mine stay high thru af, too. Some drop just b4 af comes. Mine usually drop at cd3-4. I temp every day even af. I usually drop to 96's then climb back up slowly. It's all drops and peaks in hormones. When you get used to seeing them you'll be able to see the patterns that happen every month.

I temp everyday even through AF, so I have more data points to compare against.  I get a couple of really high or low ones, but I don't think that is unusual.  I almost always get a big dip just before O.  Once I start my next cycle, I like to count backwards 13-14 days (from the last day of my cycle) and see if the temperature change falls on that day.  To me it is amazing when you see it happen just like it is supposed to.  Except for the not getting pg part.  I hate that part.  :o)  Best of luck to you.
