BFP proved to be a slippery little sucker this time and slipped through our fingers.  Time to put up your dukes and lets get down to it!  BFN, you better get a runnin' anytime you see us comin'!  Jackson, Jen, Sam, Nikki, & Sasparilla had a tangle with you and you WON'T be so lucky next time.  We've got your back sista's!  We have special forces in Italy, Australia, Syria, USA and ALL around the globe.  

Dee's got her guns a blazin' and she's ready to take aim. Unit IUI gave her the goods and she's after you!  Magda will be packin' heat soon as her ammo is checked and retrieved.  Mary's loaded for bear  under the watchful eye of General Menapaur (A tough cookie for sure) and Captain Follistim, who's trained many of us with much success. She'll start target practise any day now. Helen's loadin' up with Lupron, (same ammo Mary will use) so BFN you haven't got a prayer.  Fiona goes in for special forces training with a new unit and she'll be armed and dangerous for sure.  Miky's in a holding pattern waiting for word from her superiors.  Heather....well you know what Heather can do....she's triple the threat!  We are sorry to say Lexima is MIA.  Although she proved to be twice the strength you are BFN.  Lisa....well, she's on a special, top secret mission.  Her whereabouts are unknown.  Though she will come around when you least expect it.  Those of you who I haven't named, it's to protect your identity.  Be full aware we know your whereabouts and you are under our protective care.   So, beware BFN.  You're in for a world of trouble.

Hey Ladies ~ did second IUI today ~ they "forgot me" in the room ~ so I laid there for almost an hour ~ the Doctor just smiled as I left (I called them from my cell in the room after playing 10 games of air hockey & winning 8 ~!!~)..think they did it on purpose ~ DH's count was 50mil ~ he's SO proud ~ said just to lay there and leg my eggs soak up all the goodness ~ such a weirdo ~ back next Thursday for a BT then the PT the following Thursday ~ don't think I'll be waiting to POAS (remembered what it stands for now~!~)...

Hope all is well with you-all ~ off to prepare a crab/clam dinner ~ had chicken last night ~ after I found out red meat was out have been going just seafood/veggies/chicken ~ wish I found it out earlier ~ BUT ~ don't think the other "RE" was doing anything BUT taking our money.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......will we let it go...????....can't say for sure ~ just would HATE it to happen to another woman ~ and don't know how many others it happened to ~ just so weird their faces are advertised ALL OVER here ~

AGP - update on me: I just got back from the dr.  It seems I've several different infections goin' on all at the same time which is why I've been so under the weather.  So, I'm off work and on meds and resting over the next several days.  I'll try to check in when I'm not in a Vicodin haze.

Hi ladies.  Sorry I've been out for a couple of days.  I've been trying not to get on the forum at work and then in the evenings I'm just too tired. Have had a litttle case of strep throat or something that feels like it anyhow.  And yes, the old bf has been around.  I quit answering his calls, so he's decided to just come over unannounced.  Hopefully, I've got that one nipped in the bud now.  Just waiting now for AF and to hear back regarding my appeal so I know if I can go to my RE again.  

JA - So happy this RE is treating you so well. It's about time someone take good care of you!

Magda,  Maybe he doesn't think you need it because your body is already producing it.  I hope so.  When will you poas?

Sasparilla/Kp12 - Acupuncture has actually been proven to improve fertility and can lower FSH, good luck!  I hope it works for you.

Helen, Not a lot happening down there.  But, I do sense a slight rumbling and think AF might be working her way down there.  How are the meds treating you?  

Fiona, good to  hear from you.  I'm keeping everything crossed that this new RE is just what the dr. ordered for you!

Thanks for the laugh ~ I needed that one ~ so ya say you have hairballs to get down..??..~I wouldn't want to take notes from the cows & cats and learn how to chew your cud ~ don't they have it in capsule form..??..eewwwwyuchhhhhyyyyyy....I get my vitamin supplements from Vitacost ~ I believe they have the capsules ~ unless of course you WANT to try getting that down..??..~I usually take the vitamins with Green Tea at dinner ~ helps digets better ~ good luck ~ I'd order the capsules and take the hairball remedy back if I were you.....you're a better girl than I if you don't.........

Has anyone out there taken wheatgrass for high FSH (Sasparilla, I believe you said that you have?)?  I recently read that it was one of the ways you can lower your FSH, so of course I ran out like a bat out of hell to Whole Foods to buy the delicasy as I am sure this is going to solve ALL of my fertility issues.  What I came home with was frozen cubes of wheatgrass that look like my cat's vomit.  So, here I am with frozen green cat puke and I have no idea how often to drink the stuff, how much of it, in the AM or PM, etc...

Any information would be so appreciated!

Hey girls ~ QUESTION ~ this RE had the specimin container w/o anything in it ~ THEN it only took 30 minutes for me to be escorted in and administered the IUI ~ they had me lay there for 30 minutes (instead of 10) ~ AND the RE stuck his head in personally ~ smiled at me and said you're free to go until tomorrow! ~ ...

Is it me ~ or did I REALLY find a gem of an RE..??.. ~ the PESONALIED service from the beginning AND all the way through is unbelievable ~ it isn't the old "RE" (supposed) "take a number and have a seat" ~

DH was like ~ you mean it's already over..??..what took them so long at the other place ~ told him they ere probably preparing his sperm for donation and injected me with saline.......WOULDN'T doubt it!

As for the wine, I don't know about BEFORE pregnancy, but I do know a little bit about it after conception.  I am a therapist working with babies, and I have worked with children with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) as well as those diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Effects (FAE).  The difference is the severity of symptoms.  It is possible to give birth to a baby with FAS or FAE having drank during the pregnancy at the wrong time.  For example, around day 20-21, the cells of the embyro are developing at such a rapid rate (and this is when the neurological system is forming) that if exposed to alcohol during this time, you can cause FAS or FAE.  Granted it doesn't always happen this way (or so many babies would be in trouble as so many women do not even know they are pregnant at this point).

Thanks J_A for the vote of confidence!!  I hope with every ounce of my being that you're right.  Frankly, the way I feel right now, if I get a BFP with this cycle I will probably be so shocked it won't even register as something to be excited about!!!
Hmmm... maybe that's a good thing since I only got to play with my last BFP for a few days before it gotten taken away and left me a gob-smacked, howling mess!!!

Morning girls ~ anyone have literal PAIN while getting the inernal U/S done..??..when they go from one side to the other it feels as if they're pulling your ovary over to the other side at times and OUCH ~ it's horrible ~ ..never felt the pain before, BUT never went through this many with an actual RE! (ha!)

Going for double IUI ~ one today the other tomorrow ~

...yes, I did have some wine last night (thanx girls for the info) ~ and have been searching ravishly on the net about drinking wine before/during pregnancy and even found they recommend it in the UK ~ anyone else know anything else..??..heard it actually helps build lining..??..

Magda ~ the feelings you may be getting at night are probably the baby ~ while you're doing everything during the day you are paying attention to everything else but your body ~ then when you're relaxing at night it when the baby is usually moving around and teling you ~hey! Im here!~ ...I know that's how it was when I was pregnant 11yrs ago ~ doubt very much if the baby's have changed since they don't worry about technology and all ~ keep the faith girl ~ that way you keep it alive and HAPPY!~

Dee, I know you've been pretty sure from the start that this wasn't going to end up in a BFP but I am genuinely sorry that it didn't.  That said, I'm SO impressed with you.  I think in your place, even if I had reason to believe it wouldn't work and really felt it wouldn't, I think I'd still be a mess.  For that reason, I KNOW this is going to work for you eventually.  And I hope eventually is very soon.  Now you need to get all you can out of the break you're taking and get yourself ready for next time.

As for me, I've been poking away but nothing... zip... nada... And I'm starting to exhaust myself because I spend all day quite certain that there is so nothing going on inside me and by the time DH gets home I just want to cry in his arms I'm so miserable but then something funny happens when I go to bed at night... then, I'm kinda sure there's a little shrimp-lookig thing embedded in there somewhere.
Today is one week.  I can't believe I have to do a whole other one.

Spoke to my doctor yesterday to ask if I should do the 3rd HCG shot and explained what happened before.  He said not to bother because he doesn't really believe that doing that 3rd one will make a huge difference either way.  I couldn't help thinking that he's figured out this hasn't worked so he's just trying to stop me doing it because there's no point!

I hear you!  I get accupuncture twice per week, plus drink a pot of green tea in the am, crysantheum (sp?) tea in the afternoon and a pot of licorice wheat and date tea at night.  Oh yeah, we mustn't forget the 36  herbal pills every day (12 three times per day).  No cold food for me either, and nothing to drink except tea and water (like I have room in my freakin' bladder for anything after 3 pots of tea!).  

Great news about your FSH!!!  Way to go!

And JA, yeah for mature follies!  woo hoo hoo!

Hi Guys

I started spotting about an hour ago and I think A/F is on her way. I am at 13dpiui so shes right on time. Now I can hear all of you collectively sighing for me and thanks so much. I always knew this cycle would be a miracle if it worked as my response was definately below expectations (for me anyway) with one follie only on my right. The good news is I didnt POAS once so there's hope for all addicts. I am on a rest cycle next so I will be right on track with Lisa hopefully!

Magda - Do not let my news get you down. You need to keep strong and keep poking those boobs!
