BFP or evap line
Ok...so I tested this am and got a bfp or an evap line...man i hate this...of course it was my last test, so i need to go get some more..uugghh the line was real light, thats why i'm thinking maybe evap line. Also, don't want to get my hopes up for nothing. For those of you that don't know me, i'm 38, had 2 mc since may, all ttc natural. My Dh is 11 younger than me, he has no children. Mine are 19,15, and 8. so we really want a baby, and as you older women know, it seems like you need to hurry. Anyway, will get more test after work and try again in the am..wish me luck and ssbd to all!!!! Tina
if the line has color to it and showed up in the first 10 minutes or whatever time is alloted for that test, then it sounds like a BFP! evaporation lines tend to show up after the alloted time frame and have no color. i hope it's all good for you!!!! God Bless!!

oooo man...you are exactly like me. i am 38 with two m/c. i have a 17 yr old and a 14mth old. my dh is 12 years younger than i am. we do have a child together and my 17yr old is like his as well...he might be 12 yrs younger but he is an old soul and fathers her better than her own. I also had a faint line yesterday afternoon and took it as a bfn. i tested again this am and had another faint line but more there than yesterday. dh said it is definitiely a line. sounds like we are twins in this...keep me posted. will your dr be testing you??
it did have color, and i checked it after i got out of the shower, so it was about 10 min. i will still take it as bfn i think till i test again...its just soooo frustrating. I will definately let you know. your situation is alot like mine. Did you yell and scream and tell your dh about your bfp? congrats to you, maybe we can do this together :)
What brand of test was it? If it was FRER and it had ANY color at all, it is bfp. I have had $tree evaps w/color, though.
it was a stupid dollar tree, but those are the ones that i have the best luck with....what is FRER?
First Response Early Result. I have never had an evap, even when I wanted one, lol. I had the faintest of faint lines on them and it was bfp. I'm very leary of $tree. I have had good ones and bad ones. With FRER I tested w/fmu and got bfn, tested around 5:30 and got a bfp. Maybe pick one up for later?
mine was a cvs brand...but i have never had a evap line...esp twice...ugh...i will pick up another test today..just to be sure..i will be soooooo bummed if this is just an evap line..:(
atleast you have the twice to look at, I am sitting at work going insane wondering what it was. I will be bummed for you!!!!!!! Atleast I can get my hopes up for the day. Except for the nausia and the sore tatas, and the bloating and gas LOL!!!!! I fell pretty normal :) Thats what happened before AF last month, she tricked me.
i have never had light lines w/ out a bfp before...never ...soooooo i will test again tomorrow
When I think there is even a slight chance that the $tree gives a BFP I spring for the extra $ and buy the one that says "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant" It is idiot proof, and that is they way I feel when my emotions are running wild all over the place. Good luck - I'm pulling for you

well i have to disagree on the digital ones...i had a negative on one of those and then the next day did a dollar store and had a positive...and in fact i was ....just to be sure...i did the digital again and it said neg again!!! i went out and bought the first response..and yes i was....so..i never get those ones now...:(
I never tried the digital, so I think I will stick with a few $$trees and a couple FRER just to be sure. Maybe I will go on my lunch break LOL

my dr just called and they ordered me an hcg and progesterone check...he did say this will not change the outcome of the pregnancy but they are doing it to appease me essentially...what can i expect??/

Congrats to both of you. (cadrmr and jifnif). you are pregnant!!!! :-) pray for me for next week when i take the HPT and i get BFP. :-) I am so happy for both of you.
I still feel a little leary about getting excited yet, I think I will go on my lunch break though. and good luck on BFP for you next week!!!!!!!!
