Bad Constipation after IVF Embryo Transfer

Lyo
I had a really bad constipation after my ivf ET, on D3 or D4 after my ET, i felt the 'movement' in my bowel, and i did use alot of strength to 'squeeze' it all out...and yes i must admit, is lots of strength coz the pain is there, the **** is there, it's coming but stucked... (sorry....)
My question is: Will the embryos 'fall out' or will i have unsuccessful implantation? I'm current at D8 after my ET, i don't have any symptoms of pregnancy yet....trying my best to stay positive...

thank you for answering!
regards, Lyo

Dear all, thank you so much for your sharing =) ok, i'll take heed what you have recommended and advised, will go get prune juice!

Well, guess it's so natural to get paranoid?! and this 2WW is soooo difficult!

Wish me all the best!

Thank you, Lyo

No, they won't fall out but as for your constipation drink half a cup of prune juice!
Also I found pine apples helpful.
Good luck.

No, you won't squeeze it out.  If women could squeeze out a pregnancy by pooping hard, there would be very few teenage girls in awkward situations.

Don't worry Lyo, straining during constipation will not affect the embryos.  I also did IVF and strained terribly like every day after my ET for a week and I got a BFP!  The progesterone really makes the constipation terrible, but it will ease up.  Drink lots of water and fiber.  For me, eating around 6 prunes daily helped a lot.
