I have taken clomid in the past to try to get pregnant. I noticed after taken it (monthes later) my pupils were uneven. Got my eyes checked but my vision is fine....just see darker in my left eye but the other eye balances it out. Now about a year later I went back on clomid and that eye gets floaters and a bit hazy. Is this caused by the clomid? And if so I have to stop taking it. Is there another cause of action to make me ovulate? I am 36 and really want to get pregnant before I get to old. I was told I have polycystic
ovaries. Also I do not eat as well as I should and do not have a regular exercise schedule. If I change this will it have any positive affect with the polycystic
vision being one of the possible but rare side effects.
I would talk to your doctor. There's other meds out there that you could try like femara, metformin, or you could consider injectible meds, which seem to work really well at our age... (I'm 35 so i can totally relate!!)
I have been on clomid + iui for two months now and about to start my 3rd consecutive month. After the first of the year, we're stepping up to injectibles.
I agree, a change in your vision is one of the rare side effects of clomid. Femara is another similar drug that can be used, and usually without as many side effects. If I were you, I would try to talk to the doctor about this as soon as possible. I don't really have any experience with PCOS, but eating better and exercising certainly wouldn't hurt. Good luck to you and I hope you get this all figured out soon! :)
