Clomid, trigger shot, follicle size. so confused....

Hi Ladies!!  So my 2nd round of clomid 50 mg ends tomorrow (cd3-9) and my follicle scan is setup for cd 12, next wednesday.  We have been TTC #1 since June 09, got BFP 6/2010 and ended in cornual blighted ovum (very rare) @ 6wks or so.  Finally ready to try again for round 2, but the more research I've done, I've become a little concerned.  My RE is wonderful, but on the last round, she gave me the HcG trigger on cd12 with 2 follicles at 10mm and 12mm.  I've come to realize this isn't normal, most RE won't give trigger until at least one folly is 17mm-18mm.  I wonder if the early trigger could have caused my blighted ovum?  We figured we would try a few months on our own since my cycles have been pretty regular, but nothing, so back to clomid.  Has anyone had trigger shots with follies that small??  And if so, were you able to have a viable pg?  We desperately want to start our family!

I got my triggeer shot when my follicles were 21mm.. I don't think it makes sense for her to give it to you that early. But I think that the follicles grow 2mm a day. I hope this helps

I got shot when my follicles where between 14mm - 21mm. The cycle I got preg was 16mm and 14mm

Thanks ladies!  My next follicle scan is next wednesday, so I'm going to ask.  Now that I have a little more knowledge thanks to wonderful support from ladies like you and from a lot of research, I'm more prepared to question what she is doing and what to do with it.
