Yesterday I had a temp drop of 97.9....today my temp went back up to 98.4, so I am guessing that the drop might be an implantation dip.....yet I have had no spotting or bleeding, could it still be implantation with no spotting or so I just write it off as a weird temp change.

DPO means Days Past Ovulation, and an Implantation Dip is a dip in your temperatures during your luteal phase (second half of your cycle). The theory is that this dip can be when the embryo implants.
Yeah, I hear you! I would wait a few more days before testing then. It does sound like a good sign, though, since you normally don't have a dip! Good luck!
I am 10 DPO, I don't normally have a dip in my temps, they always stay 98.1 or above during my 2ww. I am just trying not to stress out about it and hopefully this will be my month. Not sure when to test, I don't want to do it too early.
I get an "implantation dip" every month, whether I'm pregnant or not. LOL! So, in my case, it really doesn't mean anything. However, if this is something you dont' normally experience, it could definitely be a good sign!!! How many dpo are you?
Oh, and I agree with wannabenana. Even though there are a lot of posts about implantation bleeding on here, it's really not that common!

Could be the implantation dip, or could be when you took the temp you might do little different then other days ex. sit up, talking, etc...
so as long as you are still in 98+, it's good chance. Keep up the faith and don't worry about the temp. If you are close to AF and your temp is drop, then we need to concern. otherwise, just check daily to see what happen. so far my 4 days is 98+. might be drop next week due to implantation. hard to tell.
