Day 9 pregnancy test - dealing with results

Hi All!

I just had my first (and hopefully last) IVF procedure and today is Day 8 after a Day 3 embryo transfer of 3 healthy embryos.  :)  I have my first blood test tomorrow morning before work.  I'm wondering if a Day 9 blood test might result in a false negative since it looks like from this forum that most testing is done at Day 11.  

If I get a negative tomorrow on Day 9, is it pretty certain that I will also get a negative on Day 11?  I want to be as realistic as possible.

Think positive..........Did you cheat at all & do HPT? What did they say?

No... from all I've read, the HPT could likely be wrong so I didn't want to torture myself.  :)

Thanks!  I will stay positive and hopefully tomorrow will be a positive as well!
