Does Clomid work?

Hey everyone, I am new to this forum and hoping I can get some great feedback!   I am 25 years old and got pregant about seven months ago, had a miscarriage and since then my cycles have been so inconsistent.  some 35 days others were 45.  So since it was hard to track ovulation my doc put me on Clomid dayds 3-7 50mg.  I ovulated but am now in the dreaded two week wait.  I was hoping people could share stories about being in the same boat as me, and having beautiful babies.  I would love to hear anything, or any advice!!!

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your loss. I had a similar experience, I lost my baby at 14 weeks and my cycles had always been a bit scatty prior to that and were very irregular after the M/C. I did 6 months on clomid, 50mg for 3 months and then 100mg for 3 months, it regulated my cycles but sadly didnt help with getting me pregnant. I am not taking it at the moment - giving my body a break and also working hard to get rid of the weight I piled on whilst on the clomid!

Good luck I really hope it is the answer for you =)

Got pregnant with my daughter on my 3rd cycle of 100mg Clomid.   This pregnancy I actually got pregnant while taking a 2 month Clomid break.

Sorry for your loss, but I too had the same problem with my cycles after a miscarriage plus I have pcos. I was on it for 5 months and I just found out that I am about 5 weeks along last week. So it does work. I started out at 100 mg for two months took a month break and was on 150 mg and it work on round three for me. I  was also doing 1000 mg of metformin and hcg shots!
