EPO worked for me, after I increased it to 2600mg a day. I don't have barely any EWCM on my own, but was able to produce some with EPO. I give it two thumbs up! I decided not to take it this cylce because I'm taking Femara and doing IUI. I've read conflicting info about it interfering with fertility meds.
If you do try EPO, just please remember not to take it after O, so you will have to track your cycle. It is known to cause uterine contractions so it not recommended when you are trying to implant. I have also read in various places that it could take up to 3 months to work.
I'm also a fan of pre-seed. DH and I have used it as well. I think I liked it more then DH ;) My RE also suggested canola oil, but that just seems really messy.
Preseed is actually a sperm-friendly lube. Since I was worried about not having enough fertile cervical mucus, and the EPO seemed to mess with my cycle, I decided to try that instead. I did actually get pregnant one of the months I used it, but not 100% sure if that was just a coincidence or not. Unfortunately, it ended in a miscarriage, and we ended up moving to IVF this past Spring (so no need for either). There's a preseed website out there with lots of info and testimonials, if you're interested (you should be able to find it by doing a google search). EPO might work for you too, though. For all I know, I might be the only one who had a weird reaction to it ;-) Best of luck with everything!
what is pre-seed? is it a vitamin? you liked that alot better?
To me, it did help create more fertile cervical mucus...but my cycle also ended up being a bit off that month, to the point where I couldn't even determine whether or not I actually ovulated (I was charting at the time), so I stopped using it again and bought some pre-seed instead.
But I've read of lots of women who said it really worked for them.
