Does clomid work and are certain symptoms normal?

Hello,
My doc just prescribed me clomid, I started taking it on the 5th day of my period and took it thru the 9th, just as I was instructed. Day 13, I got a positive OPT, I had sex days 12,13, and 14, and am trying to make sure that I calculated correctly and am having sex at the right times. One thing that has been wierd is I keep getting headaches, and although it's been over 2weeks, I am still bleeding lightly.. No other pain or anything though. Am I dong this right?? Are my symptoms normal and do any of you have experience with clomid, any success stories?

I used clomid  for 3 conservative cyles and the first time nothing happened. The next two times I got pregnant and miscarried. Then I was put on letrozol, got pregnant and am due in 9 days!. You had sex at all the right times, it's better to have sex a day or two before you ovulate since sperm lives longer. So hopefully what you did did the trick to get pregnant. My first cycle of clomid sounds similar to yours, headaches and longer bleeding, on top of the other garbage it tells you will happen. I think my body was just getting use to it. And if you don't get pregnant, and if your not already, ask to be monitored to watch your follicles grow and ask for the trigger shot to ovulate. That was my issue, I only ovulated sometimes on my own despite the hormones. I have pcos and hypothyroidism though so your situation may be different.

Headaches are completely normal. Add on hot flashes and sore nipples and youre me today.  I hate Clomid side effects.
