Double IUI This Cycle
Good Morning All,
Wanted to share what I am going through this cycle...Well I did Clomid for days 3-7, had ultrasound on day 9 and had 14mm, 10mm, 10mm on the right side and three 9mm on the left, then Follistim shots days 10 and 11, had ultrasound today (day 12) and have 2 "beautiful" (what the dr said) follicles measuring at 21mm one on each side. I do a trigger shot tonight and then IUI tomorrow morning and then another IUI on Friday morning. So one at 12 hrs and the other at 36 hours past the trigger shot. Then the two week wait starts!!! So I guess I will have blood work on the 22nd of May to find out!!! (I always have blood work exactly two weeks after IUI. :) :)

Just checking in with everyone doing the 2ww with me...I have been takimg prometrium vaginally since the IUI and have twinges/pain in the abdomen section and not sure if it is early pregnancy sign or from the prometrium...Any input?
that is encourgaging and maybe fate??? keep positive - I am only on day 3 as well.

I am really not enjoying the two week wait, and it's only been 3 days!!! The weekend went by quick, but now back to work and all I want to do is research stuff about pregnancies!!!!
But I wanted to share with everyone what happen to me over the weekend. DH and I were working in the yard and I went to get the mail went it came. To our surprise, and we are people that don't believe in signs but as I opened the mailbox there was an envelope full of coupons for huggies and then a envelope full of enfamil advertisements and a sample box of enfamil lipil with iron. This is really weird to use because we just had the procedure done Thurs and Fri and these things arrived Saturday. The formula is what we used for a little boy when he was born but we don't live at the same address as we did when he was born, I haven't registered at any websites or anything...just thought I would share!!!

Just had my first IUI today and second will be tommorrow following the HCG trigger yesterday.
my treatment consisted of 150 gonal f and 150 luveris.
I have 5 mature follicles all measuring 19 to 22mm since yesterday.

Okay everyone ~
We triggered at 8:30 pm 6 May, we had the first IUI on 7 May at 12:00 pm and the second one today 8 May at 10:30 am. My husbands motility was higher both times this cycle then they were in his sample last cycle. His motility was 79% yesterday and 86% today!!! Counts today were 105 million!!! Yesterday was 80 million, his swimmers patern (the direction they swim) is rated on a scale from 1-4 and both times were at 3!!! I have had cramping/pains both days after each procedure and then today I had extreme cm clear and stretchy!! So the 2 week wait begins for me.
As far as having 2 IUIs done, this was my choice. I have friends that went to a different fertility clinic then I do and had their IUIs done at 12 hrs past trigger and got pregnant the first time.. I know everyone is different but wanted to cover all my basis this go around so I wanted one done around 12 hrs and another one at 36 hours. Also last cycle when I did my trigger shot, I knew when I was ovulating and it was around 18-24 hrs after the trigger shot and I didn't have IUI till 36 hrs past trigger so like I said I just wanted to cover all my basis, and it was my choice.

We don't have the money for 2 IUI's and from what I've read it doesn't really increase your odds that much...but I haven't talked to my RE about it.
Hey girls i have a question for you...This is my 2nd IUI and my RE does only 1 IUI each cycle..Is it you who ask ur RE to do 2 IUI"s or RE suggests this..
Hi I am on CD14 and had one 17 and one 15 on each side. Go back to check tomorrow and probably get first IUI on Friday and second on Saturday. We will all be together!
I am not doing double IUI - but went yesterday, CD 9, to have a follie check. I did Femara CD 4 - 8. I had 3 10mm on the right and one on the left. I started Menopur yesterday and will do another today and tomorrow. We'll head back on Friday - and hopefully IUI on Saturday morning! Looks like we will be in the 2WW together! I am vowing not to test until 12DPO - and that is when I usually go to get my beta too!!
