Effect of Anesthesia on Sperm

Hello ladies!  As luck would have it, my fertile window this next cycle should fall around the same time my DH is scheduled to have his wisdom teeth out.  Since his are impacted, he has to go to an oral surgeon and be put under anesthesia for a short time.  This just makes me wonder, does anyone know if this will have any effect on his little swimmers?

I'm not sure about this, but I would think the little swimmers should be fine. I had all four wisdom teeth pulled out at the same time too (under full anesthesia), and based on my own experience, I don't think he'll be up for any BD'ing for at least a day after. So, if I were you, I would try to get a "session" in the night before the surgery, and then another one when he feels up for it after the surgery. Best of luck, Candie!

Thanks so much Heather!  I've gone through it too and I know there's no way he'll be up for BD this weekend!  All we can do is get in one last hurrah I guess and hope those little guys hang on.  All the best to you too!

Can a man go under anesthesia and have wisdom teeth pulled...plus have sperm taken for test tube ../so she can get pregnant
