FINALLY got a positive on my OPK!!!!
I am SOOO excited to finally have a postive on my OPK! I bought the expensive digital smiley OPKs this month and on my very last test I got the smiley! WHEW! I was using two different OPKs and showed my surge on both of them today. Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Now I can finally get to the serious business of BD!
I O'd VERY late into my cycle for me (CD 17 or 18...lost count). I hope my recent tendency to O late doesn't mean I have a short luteal phase (b/c AF is showing 9-12DPO lately). I conceived my daughter with O on CD 9 so my body is DEFINITELY different since I had her...but I hope that doesn't indicate that I CAN'T conceive again.
A few more days of stressing about BD and then I can "coast" in the TWW...at least as much as my anxious self will let me! :)
Ohhh, DH has come down with a bad cold and feels like ****...hopefully it won't affect his sperm count or quality??? I told him we had to BD regardless of how bad he felt! LOL!

Savanha - Hey!! Well, so much for 2x per day...DH couldn't perform AT ALL my two most fertile days. :( We BDd the two days prior but that was it. I am so disappointed and not holding out much hope for a BFP this cycle. SSBD TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to test somewhere between the 12-16th...we'll see!

Where is everyone in the wait? I didn't OV until my CD22, which was on Saturday. I did BDing Sat, Sun & today for good measure. Who knows how it REALLY works? I know they say 24-36 hrs. The books I've read say Bd day of +opk, next day & if you can the next day. I'd be interested to hear what others have learned. Amy, 2x's a day...YOu go WomAn. ;o) Also...the whole cramps thingy is confusing to me now. I get that cramping discomfort so bad sometimes and for the life of me right now, I can't remember if it is before or after I get a +opk. ;o)

Yay! SSBD to all of us! We BD Sun early morning, last night, then we'll do it tonight, tomorrow and probably the day after too! Hopefully that'll be enough. We didn't use preseed the past two nights but we'll definitely use it the next few times.
Having a 2 year old around, it's not easy to do it 2x a day! (which is what I'd prefer during my surge!) LOL! Hopefully the night time BD will be enough! :)
I'm noticing some very mild cramping...must be O for sure! I haven't ever really paid attention to my O symptoms (other than EWCM and very sore bbs afterwards). Never noticed cramping before...but now I know FOR SURE what the cramping is!

Congrats! I love seeing that smiley face on the opk :) I got mine on Fri, Sat & Sun morning, then a negative Sun afternoon. My temps are screwy this cycle, so I'm not sure when I O'd, but based on how I felt on Sat., I think it was Sat. or Sun. Anyway, add me to your list of cycle buddies & good luck to us all !!! :)
Yea I got some 2ww buddies, I normaly have +opk on cd 15 and ovulation pains on cd16, I can tell I'm having a surge or preovulation signs. Been bd'n since Thursday. DF jus got home from school and said pls give me to 11pm I'm so tired. I guess. I'm so excited. Cheers to the 2ww'rs
WOW! Must be that thing with women being around each other and CD's timming the same. ;o) I'm still waiting for a + on store packaged opk, but was glad to see that you tested both types. I've tested w/2 different type of opk's and did get the digital type from a friend, but still need to purchase sticks for it. I'm still waiting to ov, but think it will be tomorrow, which will be my CD19...I forgot too, but that is VERY late for me. ;o)

Congrats thats exciting! I don't know about you but seeing a positive OPK is the next best thing to seeing a positive HPT. Good news, now go bd and we'll be 2ww buddies together...
