Follicles

My ovaries are a little sluggish this month, today had scan at cd16 and have one follicle at 23mm and one at 16mm on my left ovary and they couldnt find my right ovary, so think it didnt stimulate this month.  Supposed to take my Ovidrel injection tonight.  So are the chances good that both will ovulate?  I know they will grow some more today and after stimulation.  Also, can a follicle get too big?
thanks!

Thanks, sounds good.  The last 2 months I would have like 2 follicles on each ovary but only 1 on each side that was over 20mm the others would be like 12-13.  So this is good then.  2 follicles should increase the chance of pregnancy!!!

I don't know if a follicle can get too big. Yes, there is a good chance you will release both - those are great sizes. They will continue to grow until they are released. Good luck! I think it is normal for the ovaries to "take turns". when I did iui, there was usually 1 ovary that produced a lot of follicles and the other would produce 1 or no mature follies. Good luck!
