Congrats on the house! My hubby and I dream about having a log cabin someday. Hopefully by retirement we can make it happen. Sounds like you guys got a fantastic deal and the 1% loan is way too good to pass up. When will you be able to move in?
Emma it is good to see u back and thanks for the prayers.
ALL: AF should stay away another week if she behaves. I am praying she does. right now my boobs are really sore and i have had slight cramping.
In other big news for me: WE are now beyond broke. Friday we decided to buy a log cabin kit house. it was already over 50% paid off and in forcloser so we got 50,000 in credit for paying 22,000. WE paid a deposit using what we had saved for the ivf and are waiting for our loan to come through. My FIL agreed let let us borrow the money at 1% interest. Who knows maybe this is what we needed to do to get pregnant. people say when u cant afford a baby that is when u get one. We went on vacation so that wiped out a part of our savings. then we put a 8,000 deposit down on the place. that took the rest. We are going to ask dh's dad for a little more so that we can do the ivf and finish paying for this.
I am excited and nervous all at the same time.
missed u hun... i will pray for u waiting for the great news
Cant wait to see the picture and thank you for the advise. U and babypatch have been helpful.
Oh AND - finally able to post a new pic! It's a 4D image too :)
Just a quick update on our end - I'm in the home stretch @ 36wks. To think this time last year we were so confused and discouraged that this would ever happen. Then when I wasn't responding to meds and only had 1 mature follicle that miraculously fertilized into our little boy. We tell everyone who'll listen just what a miracle our Luke is. We really feel he chose us xox He is doing great too, been head-down since 31 wks and yesterday he measured a little ahead of schedule at 37.5 week - already weighing approx 6lbs 3oz. We are just hoping that he can be patient enough to give DH and I our weekend away next week! Heck, if I go into labor on the drive home from our vaca - I'm fine with that :)
I hope you all keep the faith in whatever plans God has for you. Thinking and praying for you all xox
RM- I think the diaper cake is super cute - never saw one as a cupcake before, love it! I don't know what is making up the "frosting" but I'd see if you could lay down some stuffing underneath it (like tissue paper or plastic stuff) to give it a more steady shape. If it's towels that are making it up, try rolling them and "swirling" them into a cone shape. Hope that helps. Also sent you a PM :)
