Good or Bad???

I had my CD 12 ultrasound today and I have a really hard time finding information on line that applies to my situation so I thought maybe you wonderful ladies could shed some light for me...

We are seeing a fert. spec. after having two miscarriages and we have had a successful pregnancy in the past.  Everything I find relates to using Clomid or IVF.  We aren't doing either, all natural.  I think the doc just wants to make sure everything is on board and ready to go in order to conceive.  Anyways...so the tech said my uterine lining was a little thin, I believe she said 4mm.  It looks like I'll ovulate from the right side and the follicle was only 17mm.  I go back tomorrow for another ultrasound to see if the follicle is closer to 20mm as that's what they would like to see it at to do the HCG trigger shot.  I will also be going on prometrium (sp) after the trigger shot and I am taking a baby aspirin a day.  How does this all sound?  This is the first time I've had this type of treatment and am just curious if everything sounds okay?!?  Or what I may expect to happen?

I have had IUI with and without clomid... in both situations we did hcg trigger shot.. I am almost 13wk pg now and that was without clomid... my RE also checked my follicle size and lining on cd12.. my lining was usually a little thin so he gave me a shot of estrogen to help thicken it up.. the one down side to that is there are some studies that suggest estrogen can increase your chance of ectopic.. It has gone both ways for me.. one time I had an ectopic and one time I got pg.. Another thing to remember with the lining is, it will continue to thicken until implantation which doesn't occur until 6 to 10 days after ovulation..  And sarge is correct.. the follicles will grow about 2 mm per day..

My response is kind of all over the place.. but in summary.. I think you are doing just great..  best of luck to you!!  keep us posted please...

It all sounds good to me.  Your follicles grow 2-3 mm per day, so you should be right on track.  The Prometrium should help with the uterine lining, I believe.  I'm not familiar with the baby aspirin, but I've heard others on this board use it so someone should be able to help with that .  good luck
