HCG no doubling....WORRIED :(

Hi ladies, I'm a little concered. Just on Tuesday (12/06/07) I found out I was pregnant after 3rd IUI where I had 6 amazing fillicles....was soooo excited. Today I went back to repeat blood work and i'm now concered. On Tues. HCG was 76, today 103 and amazing progesterone. I have to wait 'till Monday to repeat the test...what's going on? I can't stop thinking about it. Has anyone had this happen to them. I know that HCG should double every 48-72 hours...but still I'm WORRIED!!!!

Sorry you are having to go through this.  I know how difficult the not knowing can be.  I wouldn't give up hope yet.  HCG can change from time of the day to the next.  I've had hcg test twice in one day before and the numbers changed quite a bit.

How many dpiui are you?

You'll just have to wait it out which, I know, is incredibly difficult.  I have heard though where HCG can initially start off not doubling but then pick up.  If the next time you test and the numbers double in 48 hours you'll be good to go!!  Again, there are lots of success stories where your situation sounds very similar.  Keep us posted:)

It is still really early then.  Try not to worry too much.  My RE said they like to see around 100 at 14 dpo and yours is right around that.  Some people implant later than others so that can also affect your initial numbers.  Hang in there.  :)
