Hcg boosters and preg test

I hope someone can give me some encouragement?  I just did my 1st round of ivf.  I did 3 Hcg booster shots three days apart after implantation.  HPT and BPT shows positive today.  I go back in two days for 2nd BPT.   It has only been 7 days since my last Hcg booster (I think 2,500) and I have been reading everywhere that it takes 10 days to leave my system.  The nurse that called me to confirm my positive test even seemed surprised when I said that the last booster shot was 7 days ago.  So now I don't know if I should celebrate or worry.  Did my Dr schedule me back too soon?  I'm hoping that the booster shot, being a smaller dose, leaves the body quicker.  I should have asked more questions.  My beta # was 182.  Does anyone have any experience with the booster shots?

Thanks for the reply.  It does make me feel better. I think the lady that called my was the recept. not the nurse ( since it is Sun) so I guess I should not worry about  the sound of her voice.  I will go again on Tues morning for my 2nd BPT.  I'll be praying every second.

Good luck and God bless to all!

The only way to know for sure is for you to take another BPT and see if your beta is going up.  I know that waiting is painful but that way you will know what's going on.

182 is a high beta.  I doubt it's from the booster but re-testing sould ease your mind.

Good luck!!!
