Help! When will my clomid nausea go away?

I'm taking clomid days 3-7. today is day 6. Last night I got horribly nauseated and am still that way. I only have to take it one more day. How long will this last? Should it get better once I stop taking the pills. I'm on 100mg per day and this is my first time taking it. I can handle the hot flashes and fatigue, but the nausea sucks!! Any advice?

Hi I have been taking Clomid on and off for 9 months now, I had no nausea, but really bad hot flushes that last about two weeks, they are so bad I have to change my nightshirt in the middle of the night. I was just glad that I didn't get the mood swings that it can cause! good luck and I hope you feel better soon

It's probably the metformin, my sister-in-law takes it, and if she takes it without eating first she gets terribly sick.

Thanks guys. I really hope it goes away, todays my last day taking it. I also started metformin the same day 1000mg, so I'm kinda starting to wonder if it's that doing the nausea. I'm really not sure, so I think I'm going to cut back the met to 500mg per day until the clomid's done. Thanks!

if you continue to have bad side effects you can ask your doc about femara.  I had NO side effects from it at all.

Your symptoms should get better a day or two after your last dose.  Try taking it at night to see if that helps.
