Heparin and baby asprin!?!?! Anyone?????

Hi ladies! Any one use heparin injections and baby apsprin and carry baby to term after 2m/c??? Please tell me your experiences!!!!! Im sooo scared of having another m/c. My 1st pregnancy was perfect with no complications and now i just seem to be all messed up!!!!!

Well i have not been on any, but i have read a lot of stories from women on this forum who did and carried to term. The reason that they were using it is because they had a blood clotting disorder, which can cause the baby from getting blood and oxygen which would end up killing the baby. Im not sure of your story, but you may want to have a work up done to see if you have that disorder, what does your dr recommend.  Are you preggo now or trying to get preggo? Also there are some stories on the miscarriage forum that talks about blood clotting disorders and heparin and baby asprin, i think the forum may be in the june july and august threads(if you feel like going threw them)  Im sorry for your loss, i had a missed m/c june 12th, im 32 and i just think my body is out of wack from when i had my first child at 19.

Thanks for responding, and yes i do have a blood clotting disorder that my dr just found out after having my 2nd m/c on June 21, 2008. I too had my son in 2004 at age 19, and since then had 2m/c. I just found out i am pregnant again 10/2/2008, and have 2take 2heparin shots a day along with baby asprin. i had my levels checked and they were rising correctly. i go back for another ultrasound on 10/23/2008.

Ok, thats great, i think you will have a healthy pregnancy, as i said b4, ive read a lot of post where women with that disorder took both and did well on them.  Congratss!!!! Keep me posted on how things go.

Yes I had to use 3 Heaprin shots a day plus asprin, now my daughter is 6yrs almost 7. Its a weird thing to do but in our case its the only way.  I still have to take warfarin, prob for the rest of my life, but I have my 2 children.   Deffantly worth it !

I had 3 miscarriages and they tested them and they were "chromosonally normal" so then they knew it was something with me that was causing the mc's.  So they put me on heparin and baby aspirin and I conceived and gave birth to a healthy little girl in April.  I will do heparin and baby aspirin again when starting to try for #2!!!
