How to become pregnant?

I am 28 years old.  I am trying to get pregnant since 6 years now.  I have never used the pill.  I have become pregnant only one time but lost the baby and had a DNC.  I have a pain on my left side of the uterus doctors said it is a cyst.  They say that there is no medication for cysts that only if I have a good diet.  Any of you know how to cure a uterus cyst???  I believe there must be a way how to cure it.

Thanks

The doctor said that the fibroid was no problem and was not disrupting anything.  I have had like 4 ultra sound waiting to know why I can't get pregnant and doctors can't find the cuase...  The only thing is that my husband has not tested himself but, I have become pregnance once but had a miscarriage.  I want to start a new set of test again maybe this time they find something and can help me solve my problem...

If it is fibroid, then it  depends on where it is as well as the extent of it.  I have some, which my doctor told me not to worry since it is not in the middle bit of uterus where pregnanancy usually happens. If you have been trying for 6 years, you might want to want to see a specialist to help you along.

I just realized you said uterine cysts. Do you mean an ovarian cyst?  Or a Fibroid?

There are several things your doctor should have done.  First, you need to have an ultrasound to determine where the fibroid is located.  It could be blocking your tubes or keeping the baby from implanting.  You really need to push for the ultrasound first.  Diet has been known to decrease fibroids but there are ways to have them removed, depending on the size and location.  Fibroids can come back even if you have them removed but at least you have a chance to conceive in between that time.

Once again, if you ask your doc for an ultrasound and he/she says no, then go to another doctor.  Fibroids are very common and some women have no problems conceiving and others don't conceive until they're removed.  But get moving on that ultrasound to find out for sure.

Ok I have to pipe up here. I am by NO means an expert but I just had surgery to remove fibroids..the size and location can make a difference esp. if there are more than one.  My OB-GYN casually told me one time that I had a fibroid and I never thought twice about it until trying to get preggers.  Anyway when I went to the RE he detected more than one and he highly suggested I have them removed to improve my chances to get pregnant.  Sometimes a fibroid can rob the baby of nutrients and fight for the blood supply and a fibroid can grow in size when pregnant too as mine did.  There is medication you can take to shrink it but again that depends on location and size and my RE said he did not bet on that really working but that is his opinion.  I believe there is also laser surgery but kinda risky from what I read.. I also know several women who have fibroids and go on to have a healthy pregnancy.  And fibroids can shrink on their own but I think that is normally as you age and go thru menopause.  Anyway, did he say suggest the fibroid was the reason you have not gotten pregnant?  Did he tell you the size or location of the fibroid?  I have not heard of a diet that will get rid of a fibroid. Did your doc say what kind of foods you should eat?  I would do a little more research on this..  Here is a good web of information...

I don't know too much about uterine cysts, but I hope you don't mind me making the suggestion of getting another doctor.  He should at least monitor your cyst and give you tests to see why you're having problems conceiving.  If you've been trying for 6 years then it's time to see a specialist (RE).

For now, why don't you try charting your BBT to see if you're ovulating first.  Buy OPK strips also and then after you do that go from there to the next step.  I'm sure w'ell be happy to help you as you go along.

Good luck to you.
