I have almost given up hope for this time

I took a pregnancy test (HPT) this am.  It was a clear blue easy and they detect HCG levels of 25 mIU.  I am 11 days past a 3 day transfer.  It was negative.  This is my second IVF cycle and I wish I wouldn't have taken the test, because now I have to wait till Monday morning to do my beta, which I am pretty sure it will be negative too.  I have read alot of posts on here, and alot of women have gotten positive HPT's by now.  I don't know what to do........

Don't give up hope. I tested on day 9,10,11,12 all negative. When I tested at my clinic at day 13 Positive with a Beta of 33..... It turned out to be a Biochemical pregnancy in my case but what im trying to tell you is not to rely on that test... I bet you is wrong. Sometimes it takes a long time for a HPT to detect the hormones. Don't do anymore tests at home it will drive your crazy!!!  Wait for your Beta.... You may be surprised

Awh hang in there. I know that its hard to be optomisitic after seeing results like that, but like the others have said maybe its wrong! I know its frustrating but you've got to be prepared either way. Just know its going to be ok no matter what. Also if i were you I would tell your husband even though he will probably over react and get mad, its better than faking it for 5 days. Everything will be ok, even if your not pregnant, you had to try this and its a good thing you did, every thing we try brings us one step closer to the ultimate goal-holding a baby in our arms. I will be devastated as well if i get bfp at the end of all of this....but i do know that i am making small steps toward securing an answer for the future. if ivf doesn't work and its not meant to be i will pursue adoption. One way or the other i know i will get there, i know i just have to hold my head high, mend the broken heart and keep moving forward. I am going to pray for you tonight. i know its easier said than done but try to relax....and vent all you need too because you've been thru a rough cycle and deserve  to vent. i will be thinking of you:)

I just called Clear Blue easy and the test I took will detect 25 mIU of HCG.  I can't stop crying.  I know there may still be a small chance but I am not optimistic.  Why.....why...????? I can't take this.  All the money I have lost from taking off work, all the money I lost from driving 4 hours round trip to the RE's office.  All the needles, all the time wasted.  I can't tell my husband that I took a HPT, he will be upset, so now I have to put on a fake smile for 5 days.  Sorry all, I needed to talk to someone

Let me make a correction, I think CBE detects levels of 50ml and not 100???

I'm sorry about your BFN but it's not over unless AF shows.  I can only say that Clear Blue Easy doesn't detect low levels of HCG. I believe they detect levels of 100.  Maybe you can try a First Response instead since they've been known to detect levels as low as 5? Some women don't get BFP's with CBE until much later.  

I don't know much about IVF and the timeframes but I hope this helps.
