I think im fooling my body into thinking im pregnant

If that even makes sense. I just think I want it so badly im causing myself to have all these symptoms... I oed on clomid last month, had sore nipples the day of o up until i got what seemd to be a normal period but i took the clomid this month and no o. Ive been very bloated, making frequent trips to the bathroom, and also have been getting heartburn for the past week and I never get heartburn. I get at least one headache a day and i noticed last week that my hair seemed to be thinning, i read today that it could be a sign of pregnancy..? but anyways, has this ever happened to anyone else?  do you thing im psyching myself out because im thinking about it tooo much?

It seems like all of us go through the psychosymptomatic syndrome when we go through these procedures. Don't be so harsh on yourself (But kudos to your self-honesty, totally love it!) Just have patience and bare all those symptoms and hopefully one day those symptoms will be positive ones! Wishing you lots of good luck!

Hi,

clomid changes our cycles and how we feel.  It is so easy to read a pregnancy into every twinge or different sensation.  This TCC is really head busting!  And definitely causes obsession.

I am on DPO8 and really don't know what to think.  It's my 3rd clomid cycle (50 mg) and each cycle has felt very different.  However, I'm having heaps of cramping and pressure sensations.  I think I felt something like this the first month, but not to this degree.

The second month I felt nearly nothing.

This month my boobs have blown up like balloons.  But guess that could be the progesterone. Gotta wait at least another 2 days before I 'waste' my first HPT.  It DPO10 is -ve I will then wait until DPO15 to test again.  So hard this waiting, isn't it.

I know exactly what you mean about psyching yourself out. Back in May of this year I just knew I was preggo. I had extreme physical symptoms that I had never had before (very emotional, over 10 days late, extremely tender breast & so on). When my cycle started I couldn't believe it. This journey that we are all on is so emotionally draining at times; I haven't even really started treatment yet....yikes.... I wish you the best.

Hey there!
What cycle day are you at? Sometimes Clomid delays ovulation even upto day 21 for some people.
Do check with your Dr about the side effects...and don't stress yourself out! That is one of the main reasons why people dont get pregnant. try and take it easy! I am in the same boat ...ttc since last 15 months now and on clomid 100 mg...

lots of luck !
