IUI and Estrogen levels

Hi Guys

I am hoping someone will have some insight on this for me. I am on Day 6 of FSH, and on the ultrasound today, it  showed a 11mm follicle on my left and a 12mm follicle on my right with other small ones. However my estorgen levels have come back really high at 928.  Has anyone had this same experience? They are talking about me triggering on Thursday but I am worried it might be too early.

Thanks in advance.

my estrogen was 3894 when I did my trigger!  And I hadn't even done stims the night before because the day before it as 3174!  I was IUI and got converted to IVF at the last minute because I developed 12 follicles over a weekend - but everything turned out fine even though my estrogen was through the roof!  I of course ended up getting hyperstimulated, but the worst of it was over in 3 days - so I think you'll be perfectly fine!  GOOD LUCK!

last cycle i had 4 mature ready to trigger and a few other small ones but my estrogen was 2853!!!! we had to cancle the cycle b/c it was too high and the trigger would have mad it higher. maybe you can trigger since you dont have as many follicles. good luck!

In my RE office they usually trigger at 16-17mm and above. I have been triggered at 16mm due to high estrogen. Mature follicles usually have between 150-200 estrogen level and some can be mature at 14mm. They are supposed to grow between 1&2mm a day so you should have a 16mm. Make sure you ask the doctors why they are doing things, because if you dont and you dont get pregnant, then you will think they triggered you too early. This is a hard enough process without feeling your doctors are not giving you appropriate care.
