I had some cramping with every IUI (3).  It is really normal.

Only call your doctor if you have fever or an abnormal discharge.  Though unlikely it is possible to get an infection..... which should be treated immediately, if it happens.

I had pain with my first IUI it's because the sperm wasn't washed enough, your uterus is unhappy.  It will not affect your chances of getting pregnant!  And you shouldn't be taking advil like marleen i can't remember why (something do do with the anti-inflammatory) but my doctor said only tylenol.  My first did not work but I had slight pain and cramping with IUI #5 and that one worked.  good luck, try not to get too anxious during your tww.

Hi there I had iui today sunday. It is my third one, I've never had pain to actually complain about. But I think advil should not b taken for some reason. I think tylenol is better!!
