IVF Perseverance stories needed!!!!!!!!

Hi there- can anyone share success stories after failed ivfs.  My DH and I have had 1 failed fresh and 1 failed frozen.  We are getting ready to do another fresh in Aug- I really need some inspiration!!!!!!!!

I got a BFP on my 2nd IVF fresh cycle but used donor eggs too.  With your age, I would think your chances are high.  Since you're looking for success stories, check out that thread called 'Summer IVF Buddies" or something like that.  Heather5 our CL is about 10-12 weeks pregnant following IVF too.

Hang in there with your IVF it is a horrible journey to take but I have a success story!

I had a stimulated cycle in April 23 eggs retrieved only 1 fertalised to three days! I was also over stimulated so I was in hospital, at the day three transfer which we were told we would have a day 5 I asked the doctor if it was a good embryo and he said maybe a few years back it would of been.

On our 1 year wedding anniversary my period came and the cycle didn't work.

We then within a few weeks changed Doctors and clinics and we had a different IVF cycle a lot more needles and a lot slower, I think I had 9 eggs retrieved 5 which fertalised and one was especially good better then text book at our 5 day transfer blastocyst, less than 2 weeks later I found out I was pregnant and now I am 8 1/2 weeks pregnant and just so worried of a miscarriage but each day getting closer to the magic 12 week stage, I saw our babies heartbeat at 110 at just under 6 weeks it made me sooooo happy we did IVF everything we went through made it worth it to see a heartbeat!

So just hang in there!!! Average is 3 IVF stimualted cycles before a pregnancy, not just 3 goes at transfer unless they all have been stimulated, I never thought whilst going through the IVF that it would work and it did, very happy I hung in there, I didn't want to do another stimulated cycle I wanted to give up but my husband bribed me with a l.a.m.b handbag so I did it and now I am pregnant!

There is hope for you, please write how you went!
