i also have blocked tubes and it was diagnosed thru HSSG and laparoscopy. . iam sorry but i think our only resort to get pregnant in thru IVF . . .
Hi there - if they found both tubes to be blocked then yes IVF is your best go. If they found one blocked you could try IUI with injectables and hope for follicles on your good side. However its really a tricky process to try and get follicles on your good side and you could have several cycles waiting for it.
I have one blocked tube and IUIs didnt work for me (i had 3) and I have moved onto IVF.
Best wishes for a bfp!
Yep, I have had 3 ectopic pregnancies, so now, no more tubes, if they were even partially to unblock them you would run a high risk of having an ectopic, and trust me , not only is it life threatening, immediate surgery, and super painful, it takes a toll on your psychi. . IVf is it, but look at it this way you have good, eggs , and alot of them and there is no reason you couldn't have a successful IVF. Good luck to ya!!
HI , I m very confused about what should i do next., as i had hsg in which one tube is blocked while the right hand side tube is dilated.one doctor is suggesting laproscopy while the otherone says that laproscopy is not a treatment , so u should go for IUI.As eggs are ok. Rest of my tests are perfectly fine. Now i am very very confused whether i should go for laproscopy or IUI.
Thanks,
Shalini
