Is anyone here an ACTUAL doctor!?

Just curious--us gals post these personal questions, hoping for some good answers, but it seems that the answers we get are just other peoples' opinions, not medical fact!

I was just wondering if there actually was a doctor here to answer our questions!

You are posting on the patient to patient forum.  To post a question to a Doctor, you have to go the the main list and select a forum in the patient to doctor forum.  If you're lucky you'll be able to post your question.  Good luck.

This is a patient to patient forum.   There is a disclaimer on this website that states we're not medical professionals.  We're pretty much aware that this is PATIENT TO PATIENT.

The is a forum, however, for patient to doctor.  An actual doc answers those question.

Personal experience is VERY valuable as well as the opinions of these ladies.

You haven't brought anything to our attention that we aren't aware of.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your post, but it seems to me to be very patronizing.

while none of us are drs, there are many great women with wonderful information. sometimes its to see if someone has experienced the sam thing, or if they have an opinioin. sometimes its just for moral support!

Wrong forum, there is one for questions to Doctors. This forum is for support by other women who are going through the same things, it is very very helpful to read, ask questions, and learn what others are going through.

A lot of great ladies here, sometime we are sad, sometimes happy.  We are all here hoping to someday have a beautiful baby!!!  During the process we are here to encourage eachother,  it's a great place and I don't know what I'd do without it!!  Most of my friends have children, it's hard to talk to them about the problems that I have. Although they are very supportive, they really just don't 'get it'.

Good luck 2 u

I just recently joined this forum (after ttc 5 years), and honestly I find it more informative then talking to my doctor alot of times.  It gives me ideas of what kinds of questions to ask my doctor when I do go see him.  Also, I already feel like I know many of the ladies on here, and love the support and friendship I see here.  I also find myself crying with them, and jumping for joy with them, when I can't seem to do this with my friends at home / work, because they don't understand.

I wasnt trying to be patronizing at all--I was asking an actual question!

I thought I was posting questions to an MD and wondered why no MD answered!

I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my question--I didnt realize I was on the wrong board!

BTW--I am a mother of a 1 year old, so I definitley know how important information is from other ladies out there!
