I'm 33 years old,Living In FL, I have a 21 month year old son, never had issues getting PG with him, I have just ended my 4th MC in 9 months..I have went to a RE: and said he will have me PG before summer...I have completed most of the tests so far, and waiting for AF to con't the rest..Also have PCOS

I'm 26 years old, i'm from upstate NY. I am a Child care provider...soon to be LPN working in the nursery! :)My DH and I have been trying for our first child for 2 years with no luck. :( I just finished all of the blood work, HSG and DH had his SA. Everything came back normal. So I have unexplained Infertility. I have the most wonderful RE to help me through all this! I don't know if I could deal with this w/o her! I will start Clomid/IUI cycles in June.

i am 23 mother of 2 DD Kylie is 4 and ds Logan is 16 months we were trying for #3 i had an eptopic in August and lost a tube and Ovary and then had a chemical preg in Jan. ( had one m/c between my kids) we have decided to take a break for a while and i want to lose all my baby weight first and then we will try again. Good luck to all.

I am 27 years old, living in Orlando FL. I have a 7 year old boy which I had no problems conceiving (probably because I was  young...lol). I have been trying for a second for 16 months, had a M/C in 8/05 had a HSG done this month found out I had a blocked right tube which I will be going for a laparoscopy to try to fix. My fiancee was checked he is perfectly normal...So we will see what will happen after my Lap...Good luck everyone!

I am 23 years old, living near St. Louis in Missouri. My DH is 27 and we are working on coneiving our first child. We have had two miscarriages in the last year, and I swear that in 15 days I will be announcing a BFP that will stick!!!!! I had a bad doctgor in the past, but have just switched and LOVE my new doctor, he is so warm and compassionate. I am doiing everything I can to make our first baby a reality and create an enviroment in which it will burrow its way in and stick for 9 months!!!!!

I'm 39 and I live in Boston. My DH is 42. I am a real estate broker. We are newly pregnant with baby #1!
We are both originally from Washington, D.C., but met here. My parents and brothers live in Atlanta. My brothers are both married with two kids each. This will be my parents only grandchild living away from them so we will not reap the benefits of free baby sitting and extra spoiling!

By the way, this "getting to know you" is such a great idea! Why didn't anyone think of it sooner?

I just turned 34 and teach 2nd grade. DH just turned 32 and is a fire fighter/paramedic. (same b-day:O)We live in South Florida.  We are both on our second or "LIFE MARRIAGE".  We have no children yet.  TTC for about 1 yr.  M/c in Aug at 10 weeks (only took 3 months of trying) and nothing since.  HSG came back fine.  DH had a low volume????NOT COUNT ??all others fine (DR said possibly due to nervous as it was his 1st date with the cup) and DR said it shouldn't be a problem.....IF no bfp next week I will start clomid.  Older sis DD-8, DS-6, twin DS-4,middle sis DS-1, babysis Twin DS- 7 weeks

I am 30, I live in Northern California. been married to my DH for 4 years, Been actively TTC for 3 years. Had 2 failed IVFs last year. Have never been pregnant before. Doctors can't seem to find anythig wrong with us. Doing some gentler treatments for now if doesn't work will do IVF again. Good luck everyone.

This is a nice idea!  I don't feel so alone when reading everyone's posts and noticing the time most of us have been TTC.  I live in South Texas (South Padre Island).  I am 41 and have a 10yr old DD from my 1st marriage.  My DH and I have been TTC for 2yrs.  I have ovarian cysts - lost one ovary to this.  I truly have enjoyed the last few months I've been a "wallflower" to this forum.  I've just gotten the nerve recently to start posting.  It's the warmth of everyone here that makes this possible for me.  I wish everyone the BEST!!  I really enjoy reading the BFP posts even though I wish it were me!!  One day God willing.  Super sticky baby dust to all!!! :)

I am 28 and DH is 32 from IL. Been actively ttc for 2-1/2 years with no luck at all. I've had all kinds of test done on me and everything comes back that I am fine. DH had a SA done and he is fine.  Had 3 failed IUI's last year and currently am testing to see if I am ovulating on my own. Going to try naturally for a while and then possibley this fall/winter start in on IVF.  Good luck to all of you ladies! Hopefully we all get our BFP's soon!

i live in central california. i have an 8 yr old boy, the cutest thing EVER! lol from my exhusband. (sorry i couldnt put dear in front of it haha). we actaully have a great relationship now. i am a massage therapist after being a registered dental assistant for a million years. i am 35. my dh is 37 and in his 18th year of the us navy. he is currently deployed and i will see him again later this year. we had a mc in may of 06, which is what brought me to this site. we only had 2 months to get pg before he left. the first one failed, and this time worked, only for him to find out through email! we are both so excited and its his moms first grandbaby. life is pretty good. i still worry about this one hanging on, im only 4 weeks or my guess would be. my son is so excited to become a big brother he tells family with such pride. i cant wait to see them together.

Hey.Am 30,DH is 33. Been ttc since May 06. Had 3 failed IUI's ,had a lap,HSG- they found nothing wrong. Going in for IVF next cycle.Start treatment on monday 4/16,hopefully retrieval will be around May 3rd. I live in Bangalore,India.

Hi, I'm 29 and DH is 30.  We live in KY and have a ds who is 3 1/2 (cutest little thing!)  We have been ttc#2 since last March, when I had a m/c at 6 weeks.  I've done Clomid for 8 months and this past week had IUI for the first time.  If it doesn't work, the RE wants to move on to injectibles.  DH's s/a came back great (121.3 million of those little guys!) and my HSG last week was normal.  So we're in the TWW!  

We're undecided if we're going to do injectibles or not.  RE said there is a 25% chance of twins and 5% chance of triplets or more.  I just don't know if I can take that risk or not.  We are open to adoption and may go that route if this cycle doesn't work.

Hello, I am 22 years old and have been TTC since May '06 with no success. I live in LA county, California. My husband and I are both preschool teachers and we love children!!! We can't wait to have our own. I am Mexican American and my husband is Cambodian American and we cannot wait to see what combination we make! haha. I have been coming to this site for almost a year now, but only post once in a while. A lot of times I just read what everyone has to say and it answers many of my questions. I love this site and I love to see how women from all over the nation and different parts of the world can get along so well, and have so much in common. I also love to see women getting their BFP's. HI I am 31 my DH is 34. We live in Nova Scotia Canada. Been married a year and a half. Got pregnant right away naturally in July 2006 with 1st pregnancy with identical boys. Lost them at the end of Nov to twin to twin transfusion syndrome. Been trying again since January. Periods have been regular. But am concerned I am not ovulating. I had a very rough D&C because my placenta didn't detach after being induced to deliver the twins after they had passed away. Praying it will soon happen.

I used to live in clifton park area.. I recently moved to the herkimer area. I am going to CNY infertility in albany on wednesday for my first appt with RE> I was going to go to syracuse as it is a little closer then albany, BUT... more familiar with latham albany area seeing as how that is where I grew up..

I am 39 and live in the East Bay, California,  I am trying to have my first child, my dh has a 13 year old from previous marriage.  We have been trying for almost three years.  We started seeing a RSP in Sept.  We are on our third clomid IUI, this time with prometrium.  I am praying that AF doesn't rear her ugly face this week.  I test on next friday to see if it works.  If doesn't we are to go back to the drawing board and meet with the RSP again.  I don't know that we could ever afford IVF so this might be it.  I am praying every night that God will give me the opportunity to be a parent.  I teach high school age students, I would love to have the chance to watch my own child grow.  Good luck to you all. I like that you did this, I always wondered if there was anyone from my area and where everyone else was from.  Thank you!!!

Hello. My DH is 33 and I am 31. We live near Buffalo, NY/Rochester NY...we have been TTC for almost 3 years... we are currently on our TWW after IVF #2!!!  We had a m/c Dec. 05 and an ectopic in Dec. 06.... so it has been a struggle.... you ladies are all so great and it's amazing to get such great support!!!

Hi, ladies. I am 27 and DH is 31. I have 2 DS- Michael Aaron- 4yrs. & Peter- 2 1/2 yrs. I got pg Jan. 06 and m/c at 9 wks. I found out I was pg again March 07 and miscarried a week later. My numbers dropped within a matter of days and my DH wants to try again, so we are. I know that my dr would like for me to wait till I have a af on my own, but this is the first time my DH has wanted to try so I will not turn him down. I live in Fort Worth, TX and have been married for 8 yrs in Aug. Best of wishes to all of you!!!

We lost one in Feb 07, and I just got a BFP so we are hoping this one sticks.  We live in Georgetown, Delaware.  I am originally from Richmond, Va. and my DH  is from Roanoke, Va.  I am a medical coder at the local hospital.  My parents and brother live here also.  My DH's family is still in Va. Hi Im 39 and my DH is 49 we live in Crestwood Missouri my DH is from Calfornia we have been married 4 wonderful years.  My DH has two twin boys from his previous marriage they our 21.
We have been ttc for about a year our RE is wonderful. I just had surgery
Feb 1st to remove my left tube and I just kinda started over again I've been ovulating only on my left side and I know the chances our slim. I've been doing injections( Follistim/Orivdrial ) We decided not to do IVF and when the Re tells me there no more options left we our planning on adopting.

Hi, I am 38 years old and I live in Staten Island, NY.  I was actually born in Brooklyn, NY then my family moved us to Staten Island for a few years and then we eventually moved to NJ in 1979 so I lived in NJ most of my life.  I eventually got married in 2002 and still lived in NJ, but then had to move back to Staten Island because we had to be close to my MIL who has some health problems.  I have a wonderful boy who is almost 3 1/2 years old.  My DH and I didn't have a problem conceiving him and then years later the problems started in trying to have another baby.  We had an IUI done last July, which ended in miscarriage (chemical pregnancy) and then I recently went through IVF.  Now I am pregnant with twins and tomorrow I will be 9 weeks.  We are extremely happy about this even though I will worry a lot.  Best of luck to all!

Hi, I'll be 36 on Monday and my husband is 38.  I'm a structural engineer for the USAF.  I work on an aircraft called a tanker (KC-135), hense the nickname.  We live in oklahoma city where I'm from.  DH is from NYC.  We have no children, and have been ttc for almost two years now.  We've done IUI once and got BFP, but ended up being ectopic, and I lost my right tube.  Now we are waiting to try again.  It is great having the support from the people on this web board.  I wish us all the best.  Hannah

Hi! I live in upstate NY. We have been trying for 2 years with no luck and no children - YET! I recently went to a RE and they want to try injectables and in 3 months do injectables and IUI. These past 2 years have gone from let's have some fun to okay we have to work at our second job today. My DH and I have gone through all the testing and we both are normal - so we have unexplained infertility.

My husband and I have been married for 6 and 1/2 years.  We have been TTC for three years without any luck.  Doctors insist that everything is in perfect working order, but obviously that isn't the case.  We have had full work ups each, Hysteropalpingogram, sperm count/motility, hormone tests, PCT.  
I am completely frustrated!  We are both 32 and our relationship is starting to deteriorate.  I don't know how to cope with this kind of failure.  Any advice would be helpful.  We were advised to try IVF which seems a bit extreme, not to mention expensive, considering our "every thing is in perfect working order" diagnosis.
