Low estrogen but still ovulating

Hi I had a missed miscariage in  Dec ages 38 I am 39 In April I was nearly 12 wks but the Twins had died around 8wks. since the mc I had really bad night sweats but felt feezing, brain fog, very low moods etc etc kept going to the Dr and he always fobbed me off as depressed. I tried to tell him my homones wern't right, previously when I was pregnant I had palpitations and exstreme heat at night. He reluctantly did bood test which he was adament would be nagative!!! I called for my results and he told me over the phone I was perimenopausal with boderline low estrogen and advised me to see a private Gyno. Previously I had had some night sweats and mood swings after I had my Merina coil removed but not bad or often got worse after my pregnancy.

I am eally confused as I am still having period every month they only last a couple of days but I ovulate etc, but clearly the night sweats, mood swing etc arnt right. I was planning to ttc in april having given my body 3 months to recover but am worried that my hormones may cause another miscariage. Even though my estrogen is low I have read natual Progesterone cream may help ???? has anyone had a similar issue?? I am totally confused and feel left in the dark my D hasn't help me in any way quite the opposite I have this week moved Drs but I am left with so many unaswered questions. I am taking Angus catus,Staflower oil and pre peg vits etc and am despeate to get pregnant again but am so frightened.

Any ideas how to balance hormones. Also the blood test was done at the end of my cycle  the day before my period and I have been told my D should have tested me on day 2-4??? Any advice would be great .

Oh and ps Hello everyone.

And I am so sorry about the loss of your twins. I lost a baby at 8 weeks (after seeing the heartbeat) and it was devastating.
I hope you get pregnant and have a healthy baby : )

I'm 40 and I had low estrogen, too--20, which is very low  but my dr said I was fine. He did not seem to be concerned at all, even though I called him freaking out b/c according to the literature, that is menopausal.  It did go up-from 20 to 39 to 80 (which is not good--now it's too high).  I'm not sure what is going on.  If you get some answers, let me know.  BTW, I was also getting night sweats which really freaked me out but they eventually went away.
And yes, the E2 should be tested on day 2 or 3.
I would have him re-test
