I was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant when we had our us and there was no heartbeat. One the same day I went into surgery to have it removed. The doctor said it all went ok and that I can have unprotected sex after 15 days. Is it OK if we start trying again? Should I start taking baby asprin and Progestirone as soon as we start trying?

Also, my husband had his left testicle removed when he was baby and we were told that this means that we have literally no chance of ever conceiving a girl. Is this true? Or are our chances still 50/50?

Thank you so much for help - I have noone to talk to and its very frustrating

Thank you very much for your support. We are going to start trying immediately, since my mind is set upon it and waiting is just too much of psychological burden for me. After all the correct mind set is the most important thing to be successful. Miracles are known to happen.

I am so sorry for your loss, i think we all know how you feel.  after my last mc in begin of set, i still tried right away. Nothing yet though.  as far as the left testicle removed, my x-husband also had his removed as a child. We together have 3 children 1 girl age 19 and 2 boys, 15 and 7, so don't believe that.  Good luck!!

Hi Maria,
I am sorry to hear about you loss, they couldnt hear a heartbeat when i was that far gone either, i have since been told that the fetal pole has decreased in size & that im having a delayed miscarriage. It doesnt make sence to me, i cant get my head around it.
I cant see any reason why you cant start taking folic acid but i dont know about the baby asprin or the other one.
I hear that it is best to let your body have time to get over the miscarriage & have a period before you start trying again.
Ive never heard that sperm in one testicle produces a girl & the other produces a boy, i always thought it was which ever chromosone fertilizes the egg & i just assumed sperm in both testicles carries both chromosones. Dont take my word for it but thats just what i think ive heard, your best off asking your GP really.
Hope that helps anyway. Good luck conceiving again
