Need some advise.

I have a little different subject matter this time.  I just got back from doc a little while ago and I am confused and upset at the same time.  Since about 8 this morning I have been having a bad pain on the right side of my back, very sharp if i turn a certain way it actually will take my breath.  So I thought maybe kidney stone, they checked my urine said no blood and you know they didnt check anything else.  Didnt check for infections or anything.  Just said it was a muscle, which I dont feel it is, and gave me Vicodin and Flexeril which i dont intend on taking because I dont want to take any chances unless I know I am not preg.  I dont agree with them at all!!  It hurts to sit, move or even ride in the truck.  Has anyone had anything like this before? Should I call my reg. doc and see what he says?( I went to an urgent care place)

Are you sure they didn't test for infection? Of course any time I have had an infection I have had blood &/or protein, also. Does it hurt when you pee? Is it cloudy?

It doesn't hurt but is a little cloudy.  And I have been going about 2 times an hour.  Oh also on another note I just got off the phone with my gyn and they said my progesterone is low.  It is only 7, so maybe I finally have an answer for not being able to get preg.

Sorry, I am brain dead today I am sorry yes I am sure they didn't check.  I even heard her asking the nurse the results and that is all they checked.

I'd drink plenty o water and cranberry juice to flush it out just in case. What is dr going to do for progesterone?

Prometrium 200 mg twice a day starting 3 days after o.  I am waiting for them to call me now to let me know if I should start taking them today or not.  I dont want to take any chances if I may be preg.  I dont want to have another m/c because I feel that is what contributed to the last one.

I had that same problem starting a few months back but it was a pain under my left rib cage in the back.  They tested my urine and then did blood tests.  Doc guessed it was GERD and I totally disagreed and didn't take the Nexium he gave me.  I asked for an ultrasound to check for gallstones and they came up clear. They said they checked the pancreas and liver and all but I believe it's my liver.  I used to take a lot of Acetominophen PMS pills and I believe that did some damage.  

Long story short, if you're uncomfortable with his diagnosis, ask for an ultrasound if it continues.  Also, don't the say ectopics could cause pain in your back?

I dont know about ectopics good question.  I will check it out.  Well I already have acid reflux and I take Prevacid 2 times a day.  At first they were trying to say it was sciatica but I already have that to and it is a TOTALLY different pain then sciatica not to mention it is always in my left side not my right side where my back is hurting now.
