Never can figure out Ovulation Sticks - question to experienced users

Okay, so the lines are the same color. Should we try tonight or wait a night? I don't want to stress by DH out but want to make sure I hit the right day. We tried 2 days ago (probably too early), should we try tonight or wait a night? If anyone says both this may not work as we have been trying to get pregnant for a while and our whole issue is the fact that he get's nervous and it hardly ever happens! Help.

Sounds like we are in a similiar boat. We are also going to start Clomid next week or so. As long as I don't get my period. Funny, I told my girlfriends that if I get pregnant this month I am going to have a big pregnancy party with all the money were were going to use on our IUI this month! Anyway, will you please update me on how your Clomid is going? You will be one week ahead of me and I am nervous about the mood swings (though I am moody anyway!).

Are you doing an IUI or just doing Clomid for a while?

Geez..This is confusing!!!  My Dr. says is if the stick is positive--LH surge on one day...do it the next two days.  Ex:  If positive on Day 13, get "busy" on day 14 and 15.  Would that be too late?
Any other opinions?
I completely understand your husband's frustration.  My husband is NOT a morning person...in every sense of the word!!!  I would think if it were positive on Day 13 AM, we should be busy on Day 14 AM.  Not likely to happen.  We have been going through this for 1.5 years with no luck.  I start Clomid this week.....

Once you get a positive, you can expect to o 12-36 hrs after. It is best to have the sperm ready to meet the egg upon its release. It will then take 5 or so days to travel back down to implant.

If you detected the surge today, try tonight for sure.  Tommorrow may still be OK, but today is definitely the best day. Two days ago may have worked as sperm stays in your body a few days (up to about 5 I believe).

Last time I conceived, my DH and I did it every few days around the week I thought I would ovulate, then the day I detected the surge.  This seemed to work better than just timing it for one specific day, which tends to cause anxiety.

Maybe let him know it can take awhile even if you both are fertile, its not any judgement on his manhood (or your womanhood).  There are many on here (young and old) who have taken long to conceive.

really, you think 2 days ago was good too? I would be so happy if it was. He is not good with sex on demand. I get all excited for it (not literally just the pregnant part) and nothing happens. We usually end up fighting over it because he gets all down on his himself saying he is a loser and all his friends can do it but why can't he, etc. So tonight? Okay, thanks so much!
