New at IVF

Hi there.  Looking for any support.  I've been trying to conceive for 4 years.
year 1 simply many ovulations kits - bulk:-)
year 2 clomid and one miscarriage
years 3-3.5 6 IUIs.  the first 4 were oral meds and trigger and the last 2 were all injections and triggers
year 4... 2 months birth control.  TONS of injections:-) you know the drill... tummy and thigh were so beat up:-)  follicles prior to retrieval: 18, 18, 17, 16, 14, 12 and 10
They ended up with 7 mature eggs!  I was happy
Day 1 call = 6 fertilized
Day 2 Call = 2= 4 cells and 4=2 cells
They call tomorrow before noon to let me know if they need me to come in that day OR if I wait until Monday.  They hope that the cells are are 6-10 tomorrow.  IF so, they will NOT call Sunday on their progress (they want to leave them alone?) and then I come Monday to implant 2 UNLESS they slowed and they implant tomorrow?

What should I expect?  Should I expect the 6 to continue at this stage?  I'm very stressed...

Any suggestions? peace of mind or is this still all up in the air?  I'm scared.

WE have 0 dollars left in my retirement.  I'm 36 and this is our last chance.

I ended up with 6 fertilized but only 2 were transferred and the other 4 did not survive:(  How are you?  I find out Friday if it worked?

Your clinic should be able to advise you on what day they think transfer should be. I just finished ivf #3 and on day 3 my embryos consistantly showed excellent growth but when they got to day 5 I was only left with 2 out of 18 and 13 embryos that were doing great on day 3. My RE said this try he wanted to do a day 3 transfer and we got now I'm 5 weeks today. Last cycle was successful with a 5 day transfer but it ended in mc just before 5 weeks. I would definetly follow the advise of your re because he has been doing this probably for many years and his knowledge outnumbers ours for sure. Best of luck to you!
