I just switched to the clearblue digital opk and this was my first round of clomid. I didn't get my +opk until CD17 and a couple of us on here got them as late as CD 18. What CD are you on? From what it seems like to me is that the Clomid may make you O later. Before clomid I ALWAYS got my LH surge on CD 11.
I hope this helps.
I don't know, I have seen some as late as CD 19 but everyone is different. I would just keep testing and know that it may have just not picked up. From what I understand, many people don't get a clear reading for their surge but that definitely doesn't mean you didnt' get your surge. Are you tracking your BBT? This will help to in case it didn't pick up your surge you will at least know you Od
I am on clomid 100 mg and use the CBFM...and called the company because the instructions say the using clomid can effect the testing. The lady told me that I would probaly get a surge but that I would have alot of high reading before and after do due the high estrogen level. This is my 2nd round of clomid 100 mg and last month I never did get a peak reading nor a postive OPK, but dr thinks I stopped testing too soon because my CD21 progesterine test was 56.2. And I started without having to be induced. SSBD
Hi Tryingforbaby2:
I do also take my BBT ,but the think is I've moved to a new city and I believe my body is just adjusting for the weather. So,I don't know what my BBT is supposed to before or after O....
Hi Heaver:The user manual of CBFM also says the same thing. So,I'm trying to be positive and think I've O'ed but CBFM just couldn't catched .I've read alto on the internet it does happen to so many others....
Regardsless of what we are still BDing and planning to do so till CD 30....don't wanna give up....
thnx for the replies
I've also called the CBFM help desk and they said I havent' O'ed yet and most likey the Monitory is showing the right info.
Unfortunalley,I don't believe them...It might have been just missed it,thats the other possibility.I think they just don't wanna admit that Monitor may not be accurate all the time...
I also use the clearblue ov monitor and am on clomid. I normally ov on my own but for some reason on clomid I do not. On clomid I always get a high reading starting the 1st day I test. Readings were high high high but not peaking. Based on midcycle u/s, RE said I should have gotten the LH surge already, and gave me an ovidrel shot to trigger ov since it was not happening on its own. He said clomid can suppress the LH surge in some women. At first I thought maybe the monitor just wasn't working right due to the clomid, but it did show a peak reading each time the morning after the trigger shot, so I believe it was working and I just wasn't getting the LH surge on my own. Can you ask your Dr. for a trigger shot?
