OPK's - are the digital ones more accurate?

I was wondering if anyone had differing results on different types of OPK's.  Last cycle I used the usual pee-on-a-stick and look for the lines yourself.  I had a positive result for over 6 days (I triple checked I was reading them correctly).  This cycle I tried a pee-on-a-stick, but attached to a digital reader, this time only one day read as positive (smiley face).  Are the digital ones more accurate?  My cycle is a bit up and down after losing my boy in Sep 09, so this could be affecting some of my readings.  I also wondering whether I should invest in the digital ovulation monitor or not?  If anyone has been using one could you let me know what you think.  Thanks.

I believe digitals can be more accurate, but that is because they do not really detect low levels of hcg, so you have to be making lots of hcg to see a positive. I used a digital last month but I couldnt handle the big fat words NOT PREGNANT so I switched to EPT and First Response. The ept shows a plus- I will give it a try in the next few days... I like the clearblue digital ones. It is also the one with the smiley face. they are so easy to read. y ou either get an empty circle or a smiley face. you don't have to sit and decipher the darkness of lines etc. they are definitely more expensive but they are totally worth it.
