Did your MD state you had an yeast infection or just an infection and not tell you what type?  Did you MD tell you to treat it?

According to a website:
"it's tricky to tell when men have yeast infections, because they can have a penile yeast infection without having symptoms. when they do have symptoms, it can be really awful; the most common symptom is irritation and soreness of the head of the penis. apparently it can itch like crazy, too.  yeah, men can get a discharge also, the head of the penis may turn reddish or get little blistery things."

Best bet is to have your DH tested and you treated.  I would contact your doctor to see about treatment for a yeast infection while ttc/IUI.  You can pass a yeast infection back and forth between eachother.  Its best to consult your doctor and see what the MD recommends.  I would not self treat at this point.
