I don't have any children yet. And in my case, DH and I both have fertility issues, especially my eggs are of poor quality as my AMH level is only 0.46, and also twice my IVFs resulted in chemical pregnancies.
I wish you good luck ahead and make sure that from your appointment, you ask all the questions and get your anwers.
They never said anything to me about any of my levels being bad. I was confused to because I did 2 iui's which didn't work but when I did 2 find cycles they made it to blastocyst and said the embryos looked so good. I can't understand how they made it the 5 days if they were so bad. I go back to the doctor Tuesday to check my incisions and I am going to ask them a million questions. Nothing makes sense to me. I still have 2 frozen embryos and I do want to try a fresh cycle again I just have to get over the fear of losing another pregnancy. I don't know if I can handle anymore especially since everyone around me is getting pregnant so easily. Do u have any children? What did they say could be the cause of your poor egg quality ?
In my expereicen, I understand that we cant do much about improving egg quality, though as a human effort we can try accupunture, DHEA, multi vitamins, wheat grass, maca, fish oil omega and etc, nothing helped me. having said that, what were the basis that your doctor concluded that ovaries are not "as expected", what are your FSH, AMH and LH levels? anyway, wish you good luck, it may be worth trying again becuase next time you may produce that one of couple of good eggs, we never know, in case of poor egg quality, multiple tries is one way of dealing with it though it hurts.
