Thank you Sharon. I will definitely be in touch. I am waiting to hear a good news from you soon:)
Lily
Thanks for the update. It's great that you saw the heartbeat! Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.
Just another update! I went for the second OB ultrasound, and we saw the heartbeat. the measurements were a bit off, which concerns me a little, but I am happy that we saw the heartbeat.
Good luck to you all, and thanks for your support:)
Lily
Very happy for you! congrats....
Ijust wanted to give an update. They called from my doctors office and my levels have
doubled:) I am very happy, but still worried. Knowing myself, I am going to be worried untill the end. I'll have ultrasound next week, but it is going to be a little early to see the heart beat.Fingers crossed!
I am waiting to hear good news from all of you.
Thanks you all,
Lily
Thanks canesgirl and Sharon:)
Sharon, I agree. It will be great, and our due dates will be approx. 2 months apart and we can share alot of things here:)
keeping my fingers crossed for both of us and all the ladies here.
hi lily, 768 sounds excellent good luck !!!
768 sounds very encouraging, but I know it's a waiting game until you see the numbers are doubling, then you have the ultrasound to get through. I have good feelings about this one though! The deal is that you have a good pregnancy now and then I have one with my procedure in July.
Hi Sharon, Yes the nurse just called me an hour ago to let me know that my levels were 768, but until I see that the levels are doubling, I cant stop worrying. I am going back tomorrow, so I guess by Thursday I will know for sure. Will let you know.
Hi Lily, did you hear back on your beta numbers yet?
Hey ...well this cycle is over...AF arrived this afternoon. Surprisingly I am ok! God is giving me the courage and patience i need during this process. Good Luck LiLy and all you other girls. Take care...
YEAH!!! I am so excited for you! Ok, this one is the lucky one. I feel it. You have some good baby vibes coming your way so this one has to stick. Let us know what the numbers are on Monday.
drea and praying4you - good luck to you too!!
Definitely don't count on having symptoms. When I first found out I was pregnant with twins, my beta hcg levels were sky high and they told me i would probably have extreme morning sickness. But I didn't. Eventually by around 8 weeks I was starting to have some food aversions,,,, nothing sounded good to eat and all food smelled awful. That was really my only symptom so far this pregnancy. Also my progesterone level was extremely high and I though I would have sore boobs, but didn't.
Congrats Lilly, on the BFP!
I hope to see lots more coming on this forum very soon!!
I never used Follistim and prometrium(I was prescribed Prometrium but ended up not using it). So I dont know if they cause any symptoms. If you will go for your Beta next Thursday, then you probably can test on Sunday.
Also, just relax and try not to think about your signs too much. Some people dont have any symptom and yet they turn out to be pregnant. I used to focus on my symptoms so much with my previous pregnancies, but I have learned to be patient until I actually see the test result(I know it is eaier said than done).
I hope you get a positive test next week. Keep us posted.
I did 2 IUIs this time with clomid, injections (Follistim), and ovidrel then am on prometrium for 2 times a day, I have mild twinges, cramping but not sure if it is from the prometrium or a sign!!! I get my beta checked next Thursday the 21st of May.
Hi ladies,
I just wanted to give you an update about my test result. I tested this morning and it is definitely a positive. the line has gotten darker(still not as dark as the reference line though). I will go for my beta on Monday. I hope that my beta is doubling this time.
Good luck to you all, and please keep me in your prayers.
Thanks
Lily
Good luck tomorrow, Lily! Like Tanker Chic said above, the trigger should be out of your system in about 10 days (I've checked this twice, and both times, it was negative 10 days after). Oh and the period-like cramps your talking about could also be a good sign! I've had that all three times I've gotten pregnant!
I have a feeling you'll get a BIG FAT POSITIVE tomorrow!
:-)
I also had an ovidrel shot april 30th night before IUI. I have not take a test yet. I feel like I am getting my period dull lower back pain and feeling tired. I am suppose to for for bloodwork on Friday...if i make it without getting my period. Good luck to you! I hope i don't get it....
Hi ,
well as far as the symptoms go, I started getting sore nipples soon about a week after ovulation. I also had cramps as if my period was here. other than these nothing really. have you done IUI too? or are you TTcing naturally?
Sharon,
I exactly understand how you feel. With my previous miscarriage(dec.2008), I didnt emotionally go through what I went through with the previous two. I guess partly because I had made peace with the fact that getting pregnant is not as easy fo me.
I am happy that you feel excited about donor egg. I myself have thought about it too. I hope you have a happy healthy pregnancy very soon:)
I will go for beta test on Monday if i dont get my period by then. I will test tomorrow to see if the line has gotten darker.
Do/Did you have any symptoms prior to BFP.
The waiting is the hardest part, but it is smart on your end to wait until tomorrow. You have a lot of will power!!
I'm doing ok. I started to bleed and get cramps yesterday. I went today for a blood test. The doctor said she wanted to rule out it being an ectopic pregnancy so hopefully my numbers have gone way down. I guess even though I am bleeding, it doesn't rule it out, only the lowering of my hcg levels can? Although not easy, this miscarriage didn't seem quite as emotionally hard for me as the others had been. I think I went into it hoping for the best but expecting the worst? I'm going to go the donor route starting in June with a mock cycle so I'm pretty excited about that. Since I can get pg, I am really hoping that that will be successful.
When do you get a blood test done?
Hi Sharon,
Thanks for asking. Not yet, I have only one test left, so I figured I'll wait till tomorrow. I'll let you know.
How are things for you?
Lily
