My question is did they tell you they had removed your right tube & damaged the left one at the time of surgery?
If all of this is true, then I would seriously consider IVF - you're young and chances are high that it will be successful - good luck! - jen
thanks jen,
no the doctor make the first surgery left bahrain after two months, when i went for my normal visit after the surgery the other doctor open my file and said that you should get pregnant as you have only 1 tube and she been removed the right now, then i went to another doctor and make laparascopy the doctor told me one been removed and second one damaged.
Last Summer I had a cyst removed from my fallopian tube. I also had a specialist/surgeon at that same time repair the tube. At that time I was 42 years old. I opted to have my tube repaired to try and maintain my fertility although I was over 40. Afterwards I had a test done with dye to show on ultrasound that my tube was in perfect form. I am proud to say that after this and a little over a year later, we welcomed a new baby. It can happen.
If you are having surgery to your reporductive system please check your options. I had to ASK that my tube be repaired or they would have just cut the tube and left me with one good one. Be proactive!
